Ds2 is also into sport and plays football regularly although he broke his leg last night so he is going to get so moody soon because he will not be able to play for 8-12 weeks!! Thanks for your suggestions very useful, also my 2 are the same on the cereal, potatoes etc I agree total nightmare! and ds2 is going to look like an egg quite soon I would imagine!!
Right, off to get tea sorted...glad my suggestions were of use crisispoint, I'll mention more when I think of them!!!
Enjoy this evening everyone...Celebrity Masterchef final tonight, so will get some ironing done, as have done all the small X-stitch for a while. Will get back to the Elegant Lady (and perhaps even my Astronomer!!) over the weekend...though we are off to Wrexham for the whole of Sunday, so not sure.

Oh no! I hope he's ok...well obviously he's not ok with a broken leg, but you know what I mean - I wish him a speedy recovery and hope (as breaks go) that it's not too serious and should heal without complications. At least the footie season has started so he can watch it...or actually, that might just frustrate him more..:o
Spoony - Guinness was 13 when I got him insured, I was initally with M&S as it was difficult to find an insurer to cover older pets. They offered the best cover (£7k per yr) at a fairly reasonable cost. Then they changed their policy and the cover went down and the premiums went up. Now I use Healthy Pets http://www.healthy-pets.co.uk/, they covered Big G up to £5k (and I kinda balanced that against the £7k thinking that at his age, it was likely if we were going to be paying £5k for treatment, we would probably be in the situation of considering whether it was in his best interest...if you know what I mean), and the premiums were about £18 for him and our other kitty. They were really good at paying up promptly and their staff were always very helpful on the phone. I went with them as a reccomendation from someone on a cat forum and still use them for Skip - pay just under £7 a month for her on their top cover.
Back on topic - spendy day for me today I confess. Not too bad, got new razor blades at Mr B, my razor was super blunt and I have armpits like a yetti! but had a £10 voucher from Wilkinson Sword after I wrote to tell them I thought one of thier products was frankly a bit rubbish... and spent £13  on some foundation primer - but I use mineral foundation and I find a primer makes a huge diff. Took a bra and knicker set back to M&S though as the bra wasn't comfortable so got £12 back for that...all in all I spent £1 from my account.
Oh, and put £15 into the bank from some Lego I sold in the paper last night....so really it was almost a credit day :rotfl::rotfl:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Well I can't possibly tell you what they are, but I'll sell you one for £12.99 + P&P! :rotfl:
After scouting I now have enough materials to make 5 thingies and I've still spent less than buying one from America, let alone shipping it. So that's one for me, four to sell, or if they don't sell they shall be cheap presents for whoever's birthday comes after!
Sadly though, today's not going to count as a new NSD... You know those shiny things on the counter... Yeah so do I(55p, Cadburys new one, I have NO willpower, bad Hannah)
All is not lost however, having already sinned I decided to go the whole hog and get the food shopping and petrol which I would have bought tomorrow.
So tomorrow looks promising at least (and I have thingies to make to stay out of mischief).
Note to self: I must not spend, I must not spend.I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)
As of the last count I have cleared [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt.

Happy Friday everyone!! A rarity for me this weekend - a whole weekend off, 2 whole days, thats 60 whole hours before I am back at work - woohoo!! And nothing planned for the weekend, except building the stage for next weekends festival, riding the horse (jumping practice for the local show in a couple of weeks - eek!), and quality time with my mates and DH. Happy days!
Anyway, today was NSD number 10 for me - had to buy festival stuff but get the money back for that eventually. Have a lovely weekend everyonexxx
Trying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon .... :cool:0 -
