TV I bought last week now in a sale!

Hi, I bought a TV last saturday (24 July) from a major electrical retailer. It was £699 but they reduced it to £599 if I gave an old TV as part exchange. Then all of a sudden it is now reduced to £479 in a sale just after I bought it! Surely the staff new this was about to happen..Is it tough s**t or have I got any grounds to complain and get some money back?

Bought in a shop, similiar name to a spicey meal...The same TV iwas being sold for £499 at Dixons but online. I did ask the salesman if they could match this price seeing as it is part of the same company. He said that they could not. Now they are beating it!0

Will you pay the £120 back once the sale finishes and it is full price again?0

Next time wait for the sales before you buy

Probably not (I mean, they'll have known there was a sale coming, but its unlikely they knew the specific items or prices until the day they were marked down)0 -

I appreciate that this isn't very helpful but why didn't you buy it online?0 -
I would try going for the price match option.0
