Hey DC thank you, yes it is mine and my chook chooks week anniversary. yes I am a lot happier with them, only takes me about 10 minutes to clean them out. And it is a lot easier.

Is it really sad that I just realised that my energy monitor has arrived (arrived about a week ago but I didn't realise what it was!!) And I am super excited!!!!!

    Just making soup mmmmm

Missy! I go away for a brief holiday and in that time you have started a new diary! It's great!!!

I have had a quick catch up on life and all seems to be ticking over nicely. I forgot you're planning to be a teacher... if I can put you off in any way just let me know!! (8 years down the line I think I have enough reasons now!! :) )

Good luck on the moneysaving, I will try to keep up with your NEW diary!! :)

    Hi Missy,

Hope you've had a nice weekend. 3 weeks and your new job will be starting, I can't remember but is it a teaching assistant position? Which age group are you going to work with?

Right, better start doing some work, i've got plenty to do!

I picked up 5 chicken lickens on Saturday and am loving watching them chook around the garden. Got home to find that the surprise plant I'd put out was infact cucumber (hooray!). We have loads of runner beans and blackberries and I'm waiting for the toms to ripen.

I've just got a part time job as a teaching assistant and I'm hoping to do the graduate training programme next year. I was told by my children today that teacher's can't have bright red hair - not sure why as my hair is currently blue!

So some shared goals and interests including paying off debts on a low income! Wondering about seed sharing and selling seedlings for next year. Am I being over ambitious?!

hey ruby!!! Lovely to see you and even lovlier to see someone with the same interests!! Noooo not ambitious, I've decided to have a little stall at the end of my driveway selling my things, and I'm going to try growing everything from scratch next year, rather than buying plants.

Hope your chickens are ok, have very much got used to mine now, they are v funny to watch.

Sadly I didn't manage to get a teaching assistant job, after applying for 28 I didn't even get an interview, have no experience what so ever which is obviously what they are looking for. Am thinking of volunteering next year so as to have something to write on my CV!

only 14 days left at work (not including weekends) not that I'm counting of course!!!

Right best get on I suppose.

    Speak soon

    xx

    Morning Missy,

I love morning like this, so far I have set up the washing, sorted the recycling, tidied the bedroom, made lunch for OH and had breakfast:). Shall we just go and have a bit of rest now ;) ? Have a nice day!
