ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Warning RANT approaching..... warning RANT approaching
Ok have just been swimming, wearing my swimming costume (not bikini) for the first time in about 3 years, and I cought myself in the mirror in the changing rooms as I walked past and I was actually appalled and embarrassed at what I saw, big wobbly thighs, cellulite starting to appear on my backside when I turned sideways, you could have definitely mistaken me for 4 months pregnant:eek:!!. Now the big problem I have is that in my mirror at home I didn't look that bad, but in the swimming mirror I really did look horrendous, so much so I stared in shock:o. So one of the mirrors is somewhat distorted:rotfl:, me thinks. Truth is I have been wondering how I can weigh so much and not look that bad, but this would answer that question:o. I do also think it is my mirror at home that is out as it is leant up against the wall so it isn't straight, and I have clocked myself whilst I have been out and often wondered how I had got past the mirror at home looking so bad!!!!! What a pain just when I thought the diet was going to plan:o!!!!
Now not being one to sit and do nothing about such things:D, I have been to tesco and have purchased much frut and veg etc, so that in the next 3 and a half weeks I can atleast make a start on getting myself into shape before OH gets home and before I start my new job.:T
Yuck feel totally disgusted with oneself!! Think I might have a cup of tea to cheer myself up (yes I know any excuse!):D.

chicken update:
I am sooo pleased with the chickens and with myself really I went to see if the chickens had put themselves to bed and they had! But one of their little heads was poking out the door again, so instead of just leaving her like that, I talked to her and managed to wake her up enough so she just sort of shuffled back and I closed the door! Result!!! So pleased that the chicken was obliging and that I was brave enough to put my hands within pecking distance to close the door :j:T

Right well day 3 of diet and it has all gone ok (apart from the mirror incident:eek:), I've eaten healthily and been swimming so have done some form of exercise every day, am at the gym tomorrow morning too, oooh that reminds me I need to get my gym kit out of the washing machine and hung up before I go to bed else I'll be doing my gym session in lovely damp lycra, which would make it even more skin tight than normal, how delightful!!:rotfl:

Missy, personally I think mirrors in public places are nasty ! You know if you are out in a restaurant or somewhere, use the ladies, the mirrors in there always throw back a image I don't recognise, always look pale, tired and old ! Not the same person that left my house.
However we all know what we are happy with on the weight side of things, so wish you good luck with it. I do have an extra role of 'insulation' appearing round my middle and it's not sitting well with me. I fear it is middle age spread, well actually no it's my chocolate habit. I may even get the wii fit out later.

Oh, Missy, you made me chuckle:rotfl:. I second about public mirrors being nasty, they are def not telling the truth
. The problem is that my mirror at home started to become like a public mirror:o.
I join you in the diet, I've been doing it for a couple of weeks now but have had a really really bad last week and unfortunately the scale showed it as well (a mere 3lb on). But I'm back on track so that's all good, off for bodypump tonight:).

OH isn't home for another 3 and a half weeks, which is pretty rubbish, I miss him so much.:(
Hi Jel I'm doing lots of different things, gym monday, pilates tuesday, swimming wednesday, gym thursday and gym friday. At the gym I'm doing 20 minutes on the cross trainer high reps and 25 minutes on the bike, along with all the stretches the physio has given me. Really need to start doing some sit ups though have a wobbley belly that I need to shift!!! Think I might get some weights etc and do more at home as I wont have access to the gym shortly when I finish work!:eek: and I am adament I am not paying for one!!
Yaaaaay only one and a half days until the weekend.:D0 -
Missy, you should rest as well, your body won't be challenged if you do 5 days in a row (i know, i did it and i just got frustrated that I haven't lost anything). I can recommend weight training, it really makes a huge difference, ab workout is good as well but I find that I have a six pack under the fat and no one can see it:rotfl:so is there a point

I do spinning, body pump, aerobics and one workout on my own per week, it keeps me in shape and the reason if I don't lose weight is the food, I love my food far too much and I'm likely to eat sweets every day:o.0 -
Well as I haven't actually done any more decluttering and am just stepping over stuff I really need to get myself motivated!!:o
Have to go into town when I get home though to pick up OHs I-phone, it will be manic so I might leave it til slightly later so that I can park as it's late night shopping.
Have decided to write myself a motivational list, I'm giving myself a few days to do it all.
So by the end of the weekend I WILL have:
done atleast one more lot of exercise
started my OU assignment:o
washed and dried and put away all the washing
decluttered and tidied up everywhere!!
Cleaned the bathrooms
washed the floors
hoovered
dusted
Kept to my diet
That's quite a bit to be getting on with, am knackered though, doesn't help that I woke up at 05.15 this morning.:eek:
Think I will try and do a lot on friday night, and start my assignment on sunday morning.0
