why do i always think that lounging in front of the tv is a good idea, I just get bored!!! ho hum, really need to do some of my assignment but am really struggling with my motivation!!

Morning

I can not believe I woke up at 05.50 this morning, but I had obviously had enough sleep.

It's raining so much, don't think I will be doing a lot today. I went outside to check on my garden, and I had one tiny tomato that had turned red, also some peas, some plums and sam black berries!! I picked some of them and had them for my breakfast, they didn't quite go together as such, but tasted amazing, it is so much nicer growing your own!! I can't wait to get my full veg patch next year!!

I'm sittting in my sun room with the doors open listening to the rain and drinking my tea, aaah this is the life.

Only 3 weeks now until my new life starts, best I get decluttering and preparing I suppose!!

Have just been and cleaned out the chickens and have picked some plums from the garden. A lot of them are almost purple but not quite, so I will be picking lots over the next few days, then I can make some jam, and sell it at the bottom of the driveway, this is something I have wanted to do for ages, I am so excited about it. I have been given loads of jam jars and I have some cheap purple gingham material to put on the tops to make it pretty so it will be more appealing.

Going to find some cheap sugar, to make it even cheaper to make. The money I make I am going to put into a little pot and use towards buying my seeds and compost etc next year. Am obviously going to make enough to store some for us to keep us going until next year, I almost did it this year but ran out a couple of weeks ago, I need to stop giving it away to family members!!!
