Then you are one of the lucky ones, but just because it works for you doesn't mean you can dismiss everybody elses problems as 'hype'.

You have been listening to Mr Jobs a bit too much I think.
I've given up trying to get my signature to work with the new rules, if nobody knows what the rules are what hope do we have?

Errr.. Bigturnip, it is all hype. I can create the "death grip" on my XDA. The Samsung Galaxy is widely reported as having a WORSE problem than the iPhone and none of the manufacturers highlighted by Apple have disputed their evidence; they've all used very carefully worded press releases, but nothing they've said accuses Apple of fabricating their evidence.

Sing along with me: If you don't want an iPhone 4, don't buy one. If you bought one and you don't like it, bring it back.
In the beginning, the universe was created. This made a lot of people very angry and was widely regarded as a bad move.

for the amount of iphone4 sold it is only a very small % that have had problems affecting mainly left handed people who have particularly conductive/sweaty palms.

the press never go on about the positives,as for the software update to cure that was a !!!! up on apples part it was never going to work.
i also think the offer of a cover should only be a short term fix, apparently the antenna is going to be coated with something to insulate it on future production hence the cut off date for cases to be ordered.
apple should be changing customers phones if they want once the production is up and running properly as not everyone wants a condom over the phone.

personally i will be keeping my 3gs for a while longer until the 4 is properly resolved.

Having both (both returned various reasons) the iphone 4 has a way worse reception issues than the galaxy s.
Both were tested at my home and the iphone could go from 5 bars to no service with the lightest of finger touch all in 30 secs. The galaxy would go to no lit bars pretty quickly but you needed to grip the phone and cover the antenna, even with no lit bars it still worked.

Like the last poster i think i hang onto my 3gs for now until something gets sorted with the ip4 or might try android again but it have to be very good to change from my 3gs.

Got to have a hobby i suppose. I just used the phone normally rather than copying all the idiots on youtube and seeing how many ways i could hold it and how that effected the signal.

Can't go back to 3gs the screen looks grainy and awful when compared to the 4.

I'm sick of these threads, if you dont like it, dont buy it, plenty of people have them now, and like me, have no issues.

I dont want a case to fix a problem, i want a case, like for all my other phones, to protect it. I work in industry and need protection for when i'm on site. At the minute i have the Zagg invisible shield on and that seem to be good for scratch protection, but i will be getting my free case from apple for bump protection.

Again, if you dont have one, you cant comment, if you've got one & dont like it, take it back. Just whinging on just for the sake of it.

I am sick of people slagging it off and thats not why i started the thread just wanted to share what i thought was a good case.

I tried the invisisheild but whilst i am sure it offers protection I found the material not very tactile. Its a very tacky and my edge bits picked up colour from my new jeans and looked grubby.

I have ordered a replacement costing me $3.95 to post so not free and I have been waiting over a week so far. Also you have 60 days from when you ordered to send the old film back so you have to peel it off and post it tom the us so not as great as carphone warehouse make out.

Funnily enough this is a discussion forum, if you want everybody to agree with you about how great the iPhone is then go to one of the numerous Apple fanboy sites which spend there whole time licking Steve Jobs' rear end, otherwise don't moan when somebody disagrees with you.

I have owned a iPhone 3G for 2 years and it was the best phone I had ever had, I upgraded to the iPhone 4 and took it back within a week because it didn't work and nothing was going to be done to fix it, so I got a refund and cancelled my contract. I have now got a HTC Desire, which is taking a bit of getting used to, but I can already see its advantages over the iPhone as well as some disadvantages, but Android hasn't fully matured yet, so I can only see things getting even better.

If you want to dismiss the numerous people who have had problems with the iPhone by using the lame argument that yours is ok so everybody else is lying and should shut up then you really need to grow up and understand that not everybody has had the same experience as you.

The problem is, this thread is about a case, and the haters have turned it into yet another discussion about the reception issue.

    Another thread ruined, bravo.
