The phone looks terrible with any kind of case, it shouldn't need a case to work.
I've given up trying to get my signature to work with the new rules, if nobody knows what the rules are what hope do we have?

What's wrong with that software update that supposedly fixed the hardware problems :p

No, not my cup of tea, that is why I called it ugly.

Unless you had some sort of vested interest, surely calling it ugly would not make you so defensive about it.

It didn't just adjusted the calculation(allegedly) of bars and they took the bottom small bar of so its never shows less than two bars. Jobs assumed all iphone customers are daft I think.

The problem is fine as long a you dont cover the left hand corner any how.

no i just like it and it protects the phone rather than I have signal issues as I dont fid it a problem. I have been chuffed with the display its lovely 16,000,000 colours is lush. Just sad that jobs thought changing the bars would fool people.

If holding the phone reduces the signal then the problem isn't fine. People will live with it because 'it's an iPhone' and to them that is more important than functionality.

I had my iPhone 4 for a week before I took it back because I could only use it at home with hands free, as soon as I picked it up the signal went and the call was dropped, my old 3G has dropped maybe 2 or 3 calls in almost 2 years, the iPhone 4 managed that in the first 2 minutes.

I had mine for over a week without a case and I have yet to have a problem. I am chuffed with mine.

If you look on the net there are lots of other phones that suffer from problems but because of apples success and some people who dont like the popularity o the phone it has be blown up.

Watchdog featured the mk1 ford focus as cutting out all the time. I have never met anyone who had a problem. I have had two and still have one and my sis has had two and and still has one and its one the best cars I have ever owned. No problems whatsoever.

However if I listened to watchdog they all cut out! See my point

Just because you've never had a problem, doesn't mean that other people haven't, you are just lucky and have better reception where you live than myself. The phone is faulty and Apple aren't going to do anything to fix the problem, they are going to cover it up with a bit of cheap plastic and most people will still buy it because it's an iPhone. I agree other phones have problems, but you send them off and they get fixed, why don't Apple do this? It's not like they're even going to stop selling the faulty ones and re-engineer it to actually work.
