How :money:am I? Last night I dreamt that I was buying a laptop online for £89 and then I got all panicky because I hadn't gone through a cashback site..........:rotfl:

Next time you have that dream make sure you note down which shop you found laptops for £89 and I'll trot along there:T

    PAD £1.50 to Barclaycard

    £20 on OnePoll

Been for my second run of the week. Feeling of virtuousness counterbalanced by the vast amounts of lovely food and drink I've had this weekend ;)

Was so cold last night i was sitting on the sofa with both my snuggie and a hot water bottle...and it wasn't even that cold outside :o It's drizzling here now so probably will be another night of the same. May have to do some hoovering to warm me up .

DD has decided that she loves smoked salmon so it is smoked salmon pasta for tea. It doesn't even work out more expensive than buying normal salmon fillets. Anything that's left over i will have in a risotto tomorrow night. Very :money:

    £20.60 on OnePoll :)

    £1.60 PAD to Barclaycard :)

The smoked salmon pasta was not a resounding success, DD said she 'it's all right.....' but she prefers the one I make with salmon fillets. That makes 2 of us then :)

She has started at gym club at school and absolutely loves it. She is always prancing around at home doing cartwheels and we practise handstands against my bedroom wall :o so both WLM and I were really pushing her to join a proper club. Fortunately it is during lunchtimes and not after school. I said if she enjoyed it I would get her a lovely velvet leotard.

I have ordered WLM's birthday present. He wanted a digital camera so I got one from Jess0ps, reduced from £140 to £70 and went through Quidco and it has tracked :T

Not been for a run today. The weather is alternating between lovely sunshine and peeing down with rain.

I have got a mini tax rebate :j. Nothing major but it covers WLM's birthday present (which arrived today) plus a little bit more.

Also sold some dressing up shoes on eBay - another £6 :j

Money is just flowing towards me at the moment :D it's all just preparing me for my big lottery win.........

    £20.75 on OnePoll :)

    £1.55 PAD to Barclaycard :)

Had a great run at lunchtime and made it to the top of the hill :T. I usually have to stop two thirds up :o

Just had to sort out my car insurance. Impossible to get it cheaper than last year so have managed roughly the same but went through Quidco and got £42.50 cashback, which has tracked :)

    £22.65 on OnePoll

    £1.93 PAD to Barclaycard

It is a lovely day here so we have been in the pool at lunchtime :D

All good here, just been too lazy to update the diary :o

    £9.50 Valued Opinions

    £29.85 OnePoll

Still PADding and my CC is below £1640 so I am very happy with that (although not as happy as I'd be if it was down to zero :D).

Been AWOL but there is a good reason.

WLM and I have split up :( he says he just can't see the longevity of the relationship :(:(:( I am absolutely devastated and have spent much of the last 2 weeks in tears.

I gave him all his stuff back on saturday and it went far better than I could have hoped. We parted on good terms and he said he'll always be there for us, if I need anything done, a babysitter (???), can we stay friends? blah blah blah, how much of this was to make him feel better i don't know but i think he has been suffering too. He talked of moping about, chain smoking and he said he was going to go out that night and get absolutely plastered - not the sort of things you do if you've just made a decision that you've been mulling over for months.

Having said all this I do thank him for being honest about things and not stringing me along any more - it all just came as a bolt from the blue. Just need to pick myself up and start feeling content again....

So it is back to being just me and DD again. She has been an absolute star - rushing to get me tissues when I've been sobbing, giving me loads of hugs etc. We are even closer than ever if that is at all possible and I know he is going to miss her loads. I feel awful breaking down in front of her but I just haven't been able to hold it in :(

On the plus side, this heartbreak diet is a wonderful thing. I've had very little appetite (except for cigarettes :o) and I am down to 8 stone 6 and have a wonderful flat tummy, my bum is smaller and best of all I don't seem to have lost any weight from my bust :) There's always an upside....

I've also spent less money which can only be a good thing. I did feel I had to 'keep my end up' when I was with him - he was so generous, I always wanted to pay my way too.

So, I've kept a much closer eye on the finances. I got a bill from EDF and my account was £255 in credit :j I got them to send £200 back to me. I know I should let it build up over the winter but it's still in credit and more will be going in in two weeks. I just really need the money. At least our food bill and weekend spends will be going down now.

Also, I don't know if anybody remembers me posting back in January about getting the loft insulated? Well, no one ever came back to me so i gave them a call and they are coming on Friday. So the heating bills should come down a bit more eventually anyway. At least our house will be nice and cosy if we get another winter like last year. I feel I need to hibernate and lick my wounds at the moment. A good job I am a real homebody.

    £35.35 on OnePoll :)

    £10 M & S voucher requested from Valued Opinions :)

    £48 in PayPal account :)

Child Maintenance still going in :)

Still PADding to the Barclaycard :)

  • Oh poles, I'm so sorry...you poor thing:(:(
I wish I could say something to make you feel better, I remember so well how utterly sad it can be...when my ex left I was a state for a while too - I lost loads of weight too. It just doesn't cross your mind to eat and when I tried it tasted yuk:o I went down to 7st 9 at my lowest, hovered at 8 for a while and am now stuck at about 8st 10...at least my Crohn's keeps me small;) Got to look on the bright side! So yes - that's the upside, you must look fab.

Your little girl sounds like she's being a lovely little help for you - they do keep you going and make you get on with the boring stuff. You will feel content again in time, just dont rush yourself and allow yourself some time to feel sad.

Good news with the money though from EDF and getting the loft insulated...it'll all help with the winter bills eh?

Keep posting ... I'm not much help but will happily listen to you:D

Thank you. I have actually felt far better this afternoon than I have in the whole of the last 2 weeks. A good job I am good at being single. If truth be told it would have scared the life out of me if he moved in, but I have never felt more comfortable with anyone else. We had so much in common, he did so much for us. It was nice to feel like I was the one being looked after for a change. Still, there are worse things that can happen.

    I'll bounce back, I always do :D
