Polesalot's Climb to Debt Freedom

Glad the grocery account is working for you too - definitely one of my more successful moves! Mine's looking a bit low as I had a big Asda shop come at the weekend, but it should last us a while, just fruit and milk to buy hopefully for a while.
Boo to the CSA - I've not had to use them though I do threaten ex as I don't think he gives enough, but he swears he has no money and cant give more...so I just think well at least I get something:o
Cheri - tax credits don't take maintenance into account, just earnings from work, so not good for poles:(I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Welcome pixiechick to my ramblings about the CSA.....
Hair colour has turned out OK. At first I didn't think it had made much difference although it has covered the grey. It looks a much more vibrant colour today after 2 more washes. It was, however, one of the best hair dyes I've ever used to wash out. It only took me about 10 minutes for the water to run clear! Usually takes about 25 mins and it's still not done....
Cheri - things are still going well with WLM. He is meeting me for lunch today so he can give me a present for DD as it is her birthday today! This time 7 years ago I'd just been stitched up ha ha :rotfl:
I'm taking her out to our local Beefeater restaurant tonight and she has her party on Sunday. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Pixiechick - i've just realised who you are...silly me!It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0

Happy birthday to dd....and so glad things are going well with WLM:beer:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
£26.70 on OnePoll :j I have been raking it in recently.
Also been doing another survey where I have to keep texting my thoughts on things (they pay for the texts) and doing a short online survey every other night) should get £4 for that when completed.
Taking DD out for a meal tonight, just the 2 of us. Must try to be a bit MSE :money:but I usually can't reign myself in where food is concerned....:o:oIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Woohoo Virgin CC has been paid off :j. I'm now £1.19 in credit with them. Will ring them up tonight and see if they will send that back to me, then I will cancel the card. It also means that the money I had taken into account for the minimum payment won't be needed so I can add that back on to my current a/c balance.
Registered my new barclaycard online so I can keep an eye on that.
Food shop tonight. Must be frugal.
DD has got a rotten but we had a lovely meal last night. I am feeling a bit achey today - I hope nothing develops over the weekend because it's her party on Sunday so I am going to need all my energy for that! It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
STILL £26.70 on OnePoll  The amount of surveys available seems to be directly proportional to how busy I am at work....I have nothing to do at the mo and could be busy earning money
.
This would also be an ideal time to get some Valued Opinions or PineCone surveys because they are quite time-consuming
Just cancelled Virgin D/D and set up new payment details on my online banking so I can start PADding on the Barclaycard.
Have written shopping list and must stick to it religiouslyIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
I'm going to try to get to 500 posts todayIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0

Made it to 500! Looking forward to getting my extra marker at 750
Just been looking through some of the posts on the Child Support board. It's not looking very promising re reassessment - some people there have been waiting over 6 months for payments and their paperwork all seems to be in place. We could be in for a long wait to get this resolved.
I think I'm going to go to Sainsbury's for my shop tonight. I know they are more expensive than Morrisons but they have everything I need and I have got at least £20 worth of Nectar points I could use. Plus I still have £6 of luncheon vouchers in my bag too
Headache is getting worse...going to have lunch and a coffee and see if that shifts it.....It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
OnePoll is being really tight today! No surveys at all so far
Still got headache, early (ish) night tonight, assume Hustle isn't on because of the rugby. Think I will have a lavender bath and see if that shifts it.It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0
