Needless to say I haven't had any CSA money since before Xmas, what a nuisance.

DDs bedroom is a bit of a sore point. I think I was being overambitious. To be fair though, she has said she doesn't mind so long as I get it done before 2012 - bless her. I have £40.03 saved so far......

Since last week I've started PADding again. I realised that I managed to clear quite a lot off my card when I was doing this last summer (seems so long ago now) and although my paltry roundings that i used to put in weren't exactly large enough to clear huge chunks off, the fact that i was aware what was happening to the balance of the card made me make the extra £25 or £30 here and there and that helped enormously.

    A few random points....

    I have £18.85 on OnePoll.

I've started doing another survey site - Populus.

Things seem to be going OK with WLM. We had a lovely New Year - he stayed over 2 nights running - this is a big issue with me in respect of DD and what she thinks about it. He first stayed over beginning of December during the snow, so we kind of used that as an excuse but she was very upset about it but I thought I'm not going to give in because I know she really likes him, it's just it's all strange to her. I have never let boyfriends stay over before when she's been there. She was fine after we had a little chat about it and everything is still OK now.

Felt quite fluey over the weekend. I'd been to the docs on Thursday and there were loads of really snotty and coughy people in the waiting room, I thought I'd left with more than I went in with. I dosed myself up on Saturday and thankfully it looks like nothing has taken hold.

Went for a run today - hope my legs aren't as sore as they were last week :)

Can't wait to get home tonight and get into my bed.

Grrrr...no maintenance received this week either  I wish they would just pay it weekly (as per their schedule) rather than the odd lump sum here and there. I'd know where I was then.

86p PAD made today. If I could find an extra £24 my CC would be below the £2100 mark :)

Couple of surveys done. OnePoll now at £19.35.

Bought 2 lottery tickets today with my set numbers I chose when DD was born. I am feeling lucky this week :rotfl:

How on earth are you getting the onepoll to that rate. I completely gave up on it. Good luck with the lottery tickets!

CSA - worst organisation in the world. And the government insist that this is set up to lift children out of poverty. I think that they create more problems than good. Sorry you are having to deal with it. Have you tried raising a complaint? Not that I expect if will help.

I just keep popping on to OnePoll while I'm at work :o I love their surveys as they are so quick. This is my second round as it were as I reached my first £40 back in about September. I still think it will be about May till I reach my next £40 :(

Still no CSA money. Maybe some will go in next week :rotfl:

My bank account is at NIL, big fat zero....however this is just in my little cash book that I write everything in. I have taken into account the balance for DD's Build-A-Bear birthday party and that won't get paid until early Feb so theoretically I am still in credit. Also got a school dinner cheque still to come out.

Have £50 still in grocery account and loads in freezer so just need fresh stuff this week. Will try to keep it below £25, should be fairly easy as that should be more than enough but I am easily seduced by the offers in the supermarket. Might go to Aldi.....

PAD today of 75p :) I WILL get that card cleared!!!!

Forgot to say - first pole class last night since 25 September. I am in a slight bit of pain today. I have a bruise on the back of my thigh and the most disgusting blood blister on the palm of my hand  still the teacher did say that we are now 'hardcore' and it's meant to be difficult and painful :D

I will really be feeling it tomorrow......

You are doing great on onepoll. I only have about 70p since I got my payout but I'll keep going. I like it too because the surveys only take about a minute.

I've been doing readbud as well recently, you have to read (or quickly glance at;)) articles and rate them out of 5. Some of the articles are interesting and I do read them. So far I have $15 and payout is at $50. Can't guarantee that they pay though but I'm hoping. Most of the survey sites do seem to be paying out eventually. I don't like Toluna but I'm still doing it because Amazon vouchers are fab even if you have to wait 2 months for them. Perhaps you could use Amazon vouchers for bedroom decorating? That might be an incentive to work on Toluna.

I tried Toluna but I didn't really like it. Isn't it strange how just the way a website is designed can put you off?

No maintenance again  I am really cross now because I don't get paid until Monday and I was really hoping to bump the balance on my Virgin CC down past the £2100 mark. Grrr....now it won't feel quite as satisfying when i make the next payment :(

PAD of 43p today, rounding down grocery account.

    Good afternoon

Payday today :jand our small rise we got is included. Nice bit of shuffling between accounts has been done :)

No council tax this month so I am putting that money (£95) towards DD's bedroom fund.

Paid £47.81 to Virgin to take the balance to £2100 - another milestone (or should that read millstone :rotfl:) Having looked at my statement online it looks like this month's interest is going to be £5.20 more than last month's  time for a balance transfer I think. I've applied to Barclaycard but they can't give me an answer straightaway. I think (or at least I'm hoping) that this is because when I put the card details down that I wanted to transfer, i didn't put the expiry date. This is because the card is in the freezer and I can't check it :o I really hope they accept me. They should give me a call within 5 days.....

    Transferred £160 to food account.

I will get a bill for the ASC fees this month so still need to take that into consideration - need to check when half term is so I can work out what that is going to cost. A number of us at work have been hassling HR to do the chilcare voucher scheme. This would really help me out because I am not disciplined enough to put money by each month for it, not so much because I am lazy but it's hard to start off because I can't put money by when I've already just paid a hefty bill. Hope they make a decision soon.

    Now heavily relying on maintenance.....:(

Went for a run at lunchtime. Very cold, but at least the shower is nice and warm.

    TTFN....

Grrr I keep missing your posts because my subscribed isnt telling me. Sounds like you are doing really well with onepoll. I am up to about £16 but I admit that I stopped going on everyday when I went a couple of weeks without anything.
Maintenance is rubbish for you. Do CSA not pay it over if they dont get it in or something? What a terrible way to have to live. I dont know how you manage.
Well done on sorting out a balance transfer. I have to admit to having done a 0% onto my virgin and a 0% off my virgin to barclaycard.
I need to take a leaf out of your book and be more organised. Will roll up my sleeves and get stuck in this weekend me thinks.
