Does anyone know how many piggy points you need on Pigsback before you can claim and what they are worth?
.
About 5million?!?!!?:rotfl: I gave up on Pigsback after dutifully doing clicks and comps, then they changed the requirements for payout...they upped the amount needed, so I gave up in a huff:rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Pigsback started as an Irish site, it's still Dublin based and it used to be fantastic but they've made a lot of cutbacks in the last few years. For a while I got free phone credit every 2 months, then when they upped the points for that I got cdwow vouchers instead and €10 vouchers for Captain Americas but now it's too difficult to get points so I gave up. Don't know what the UK site is like but if you click on "Rewards" it should tell you how many points you need for things.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000

I've pulled all my stomach muscles from Thursday's pole class. Very painful
Desperately trying to stay on top of the (lack of) cash situation. Been doing as many surveys as I can get away with whilst at work. Joined LoveFilm for the £15 cashback, got Sherlock Holmes for me and WLM to watch tonight. I just hope it's easy to leave them before the 2 week free trial ends.
Taking DD to a 'craft and recreation' afternoon later today. It's free and they get a story, crafts and activities. Free refreshments too! We can walk there too, free exercise and saving petrol. Can't be bad.
MSE is turning into a religion for me :money:
I am cooking dinner tonight - Turkey stroganoff, WLM is cooking dinner tomorrow. DD is out with a friend for most of the day so we thought we'd go to a local antiques market. How very grown up
Off to check on more surveys....It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
That sounds like a lovely, very MSE day:D
Dinner sounds good too, nothing as exciting here - my girls with their dad so I have very lazy dinners when they're away:o
What survey sites have you been using? I used to be very good at doing surveys but have got very lazy recently and not bothering - I just do Pinecone ones when I get them as they're £3 cash (well Paypal). Must try harder!
Have a lovely weekend:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
I have had a lovely weekend and am feeling very content. WLM got me a card and some white chocolate high heeled shoes. The heels are solid chocolate and are absolutely delicious mmmm. I felt a bit guilty as I didn't get him anything
Valentine's isn't something I do as I'm usually single. We had a lovely day out together yesterday though
Then this morning DD got all upset because I hadn't got her a card. We NEVER do Valentine cards! Bought one from the shop in the village and gave her a Lindor chocolate to make up for it. I am slightly annoyed that I gave into it.
Been for my first run of the week. Lovely sunny but crisp day - perfect.
£29.50 on OnePoll - only one survey today - meanies.
Kept hassling Valued Opinions about the muck up on my £4 survey. Seems to be sorted now but because of the nature of the survey (it's complicated apparently) it will be more than 28 days before my account is credited.
Returned the DVd to Lovefilm and cancelled account.
Made my weekly call to the CSA. The employer has until the 21 Feb to get back to them with all the payslip details. Then it probably takes a few weeks to calculate the new payment amount (although I could probably do it in about 5 seconds with a calculator) then by the time that's worked out we'll probably have missed the next payment runI'm usually the eternal optimist but I can't see this getting resolved before Easter.....
Right, off to tackle those chocolate shoes......It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Have had another lovely weekend
have been introduced to some of WLM's friends and (step) family.
Only 2 days at work this week and one of them was today :T. I've got tomorrow, Thursday and Friday off.
Tomorrow me and DD are going to the cinema with a friend and her DD to see Tangled. I've already made us a huge bag of popcorn to sneak in with us and we will take our own drinks. I've also got a voucher for Frankie & Benny for lunch after :money:
I've booked up the Tower of London for Friday. DD loves her history, as do I so we're really looking forward to that. I hope it stays dry. We might do the Tower Bridge exhibition too while we're there.
Almost forgot to say - I got £19.09 from the CSA today! I rang them this evening to find out if it was the new weekly (or heaven help me, monthly) amount and the woman couldn't tell me! Not because she wasn't allowed - she just didn't know:rotfl: She said as far as their records showed they were still waiting for his new employer to come back with copies of payslips. This payment has been received by Standing Order which would suggest he's set that up off his own back (unlikely) but there doesn't seem to be any other explanation for it. From reading on the Child Support board if he's set up a Standing Order rather than having a DEO through the CSA he can chop and change when he pays and the amounts as he pleases. Arghh...this is so annoying. I know I should be pleased that I've got something but honestly that doesn't even cover the cost of our Tower of London visitand that's before I've paid for the train fares.....
DD has a streaming coldShe has a very sore nose and some of the noises comimg from her room aren't very pleasant. Hopefully she'll get a good night's sleep and feel miles better in the morning.
£31.95 on OnePoll.....getting there
The only money I spent this weekend was £36.28 in Morrisons on Friday eveningSo for the first month ever I have stayed within my £40 a week food budget. I even have £4.12 left in the grocery account :jso I think i will transfer that to DD's bedroom fund.
Might have a bit of a clearout of cupboards and things while I'm off, very cathartic.
Just need to have a quick whizz around and tidy up, got Planet Rock on the radio, then going to settle down and watch New Two and a Half Men. I love that show.
Night all....It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Ooooh your day out to London sounds fab - I would LOVE to take the girls to see the Tower and other sights again...last took them about 6 years ago:o
Hope you enjoy the film - my dd2 and her friend are going on Wed, just them 2 as it's 2 for 1, so daft for me to go too. I'l just browse Asda and have a quite cuppa while they're in. Will take sweets and smuggled in drinks too - I refuse to pay their ridiculous prices;)
All good things moneywise for you eh - CSA money, shopping under budget and cheap Frankie and Benny lunch - lovely!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
The film was good. Had a nice lunch afterwards and a trip to the local shopping centre. DD spent some of her Build-a-Bear vouchers and we changed some Disney shoes she's been given for the right size. I treated myself to some of the infamous Bottom Butter from Waitrose. It's quite nice although a bit greasy so I have decided to just use it at night. It has made my skin soft and dewy though, even after just one application.
DD has a shocking cough so I got her some cough medicine yesterday from the chemist up the road. It wasn't until I had to get up in the small hours to give her some that I noticed the use-by date was October 2010! She'd already had 4 doses by this time  I got my dad to take it back this morning and he got a new bottle plus the £3.65 that it cost me back.
CSA duly called back yesterday morning. Apparently the new employer can't find all the paperwork that the CSA sent them  This is so infuriating. As someone who is generally quite well organised I find it hard to comprehend how companies can be so disorganised. Delay tactics maybe??? The CSA have now faxed them all the bits they need and the employer is going to deal with it as a priority. We shall see....
A friend has offered me a cabin bed, desk and storage cube for DD's bedroom all for £50! It is all nearly new stuff too. Looks like I may be able to get her room done by summer after all. Guess what I will be doing in the Easter holidays??? Painting!
No surveys from OnePoll today so far
Not been able to get out for a run today due to the awful rain but I have an extra pole class tonight to make up for one I missed a few weeks ago, then my usual class tomorrow night. Going to ache Friday I think. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
My dd and her pal saw Tangled too and enjoyed it:D I wish mine still loved Build a Bear...I love that shop, but youngest is 11 nd at secondary now - def not cool:D She has tons of clothes and the wardrobe and wants to get them on ebay:(
Booo to the ex's employers and CSA...what a fiasco. I've not had to deal with them, though sometimes I tjhink I should go thro them s ex doesnt give a fair whck of his wages...he just says its all he can afford..hmmm.
Brilliant news bout the cabin bed for your girly...that'll be fab and what a bargain:j Her room will look fab...not long til Easter and you can get busy!!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Damn...I just spent 20 mins typing a thread and it's lost it
In brief:
£5 M&S voucher received yesterday from my Texaco loyalty card.
£33 on OnePoll - I will really need this money this month.
£11.50 on Valued Opinions so should be getting a voucher soon.
Received my IKEA family card in the post so that will come in handy for DD's bedroom. I've requested some carpet samples so really need to think about painting the room before I order the carpet. Maybe do that next weekend.
Payday today so have shuffled some money around. Not much spare for myself but all bills and food are taken care of
Day off today and DD has a friend round so I can get on with some stuff here. Might even get some washing outside to dry seeing as it's so nice out. Actually I might even start clearing out the kitchen cupboards! As usual when I have a few days off I never seem to have enough time to get all the things done that I want to!
Got my fringe cut this morning. My hairdresser does it for free between cut and blow dries but it actually feels like a new cut now I can see again :money:
Let's see if this posts this time.....It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0
