Ooooh you lucky thing having a roast cooked for you;) My 3rd night of freezer dinner - goodness knows what excitement I'll have tonight! My girls are back later, around 6, so I'm not sat on my own tonight, thank goodness:o
Well done on the ebaying - once I find the enthusiasm to list things I do find I can't stop....just need that initial push to get going:D I have a lovely pair of dd2's pink converse sat on the table waiting patiently to be photographed;)
Anyway, I am procrastinating yet again - I have an essay I need to get written asap, but am stuck, I don't know where to start or what I need to be reading and researching...that's not good!!
Have my picnic bag out ready to clean and fill - we're off to Crealy in Devon tomorrow - as long as the weather holds up!I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Yes the ebaying is addictive, mind you I haven't sold anything yet!

Thats a very impressive list, particularly oven cleaning.
Milly I am seriously in trouble with OU diversion activity, even attempted Shred this afternoon.DC.

Maintenance has gone in!!!! Just over 2 weeks worth. I was up late last night so when it had gone midnight I had a sneaky peek on my phone and it was there. Phew....
Posted off mobile phones, apparently I will get the cheque 2 days after they receive the phones. Hope so.
Went to Museum of Kent Life today. If I bought yearly passes for me and DD (£45) then they would give me back the price of our previous visit (£15) plus there was a £5 voucher each to spend anywhere there or we could take it off the price of the membership which is what I did. So it only cost us £20 !! That's only a fiver more than normal entry. We get free entry for the next year and 10% off anything we buy in the coffee bar, tea room or shop. Plus 50% off entry into the Canterbury Tales exhibition in Canterbury. DD will love that - she's into anything historical.
Just done my PAD for 92p.
Done a survey for 10p.
There [STRIKE]is one [/STRIKE] are 2 watchers on one of my eBay things.
I must get into bed earlier tonight. I think this holiday is going to be quite exhausting. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
I've made my first eBay sale!! £3 BIN but it's a start. Just waiting for the money to go in before I send it off. V pleased.
I will look into Amazon tonight about selling books and CDs now I have the selling bug
Payday today so I've been shifting money around. I still can't get it out of my head that the amount in my little book (where I write everything down) is theoretically mine to spend. I'm so used to thinking I've still got to pay for groceries out of it!
Another day out planned today with a friend and her daughter. Going to pick them up in a bit.
'Date' is coming round to cook us dinner on Saturday on the condition that I do pavlova again. Suits me. DD still calls him washingline man :rotfl:It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Hooray for your ebay sale:beer:
Amazon is really easy to list things on - no photo to upload, just list condition and price and away you go;) They do keep more of the final price though - but they tell you how much before you list, so if it's not worth it I don't bother.
Ooooh...Saturday night sounds good...jealous, moi?!:rotfl: The name Washinglineman might just stick:D
Have a great day:)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Had a lovely day out with my friend and her daughter. We got stuck in a traffic jam on the way there so didn't get there until about 12.30. Bought a family ticket so in effect it saved us £2 each so £17 per mother and daughter IYSWIM.
Coming back got stick in another traffic jam, on a hill. stop start stop start then my friend noticed a horrible burning smell . I pulled over and opened the bonnet and it was definitely coming from my car. We found that if we turned the fan off we couldn't smell it anymore and drove the rest of the way (about 25 miles) very carefully. My dad is coming down to look at it tomorrow morning but he's not a mechanic. I'm so useless with cars and I really don't need this. I've just got up straight with my money and now this happens  I hope it's not something serious. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Just ironed a few bits including the duvet covers. I do like it when they're done. Put on a bit of washing. Mainly tea towels but included DDs white zip up top that she wore today and got covered in strawberry juice
I am shattered again. The place we went to today had an obstacle course through the woods, loads of ramps, tyres to crawl through, ropes to swing across and those zip slides - 777m long! And we did it twice . I'm going to ache tomorrow......
Might have a quieter day. Need to sort car out then walking over to the park down the road to meet some of DDs classmates.
Off to bed now. I'm going to have a mug of cocoa....last night I was drinking ginger wineIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Grrrr...I've just spent 15 minutes typing out a post and it's just disappeared
Looks like I burnt the clutch on the car. Popped over to the 'car' board last night. i think i need to change my driving habits. Dad's been over this morning and it seems to be fine now. No smell, no warning lights (there weren't any anyway) and we made sure the fan came on when the engine heated up. We topped up the water too to be on the safe side.
I think I've had a lucky escape.
CSA money went in today. A weeks worth. See? No pattern to it ut at least it's going in.
Had email from Fonebanker saying they'd received my phones so should get the cheque (£23) in the next few days.
Made a PAD of £1.25 to Virgin CC.
Just completed a survey for 20p.
Going to make sandwiches for our little trip to the park. Hope it doesn't rain.
Need to go through house at some point and get more stuff to list on eBay.It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
I think the rain waited for us to all sit down and start eating before it started
We are now back home and DDs friend has come back with us and will stay for tea. One down, two more to fit in before the end of the holidays - 1 week.
Posted off my eBay parcel.
Will check for some more surveys, really want to get that balance up to £40.It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0
