This is such a shame. Are your girls at your ex's? Couldn't you swap weekends? After all it is your 40th.... I don't want my birthday to go by unmarked, thing is I'm not brave enough to have a big party (hate being the centre of attention). i think I will just do a meal with friends, a meal with work colleagues and a family do (at mum and dad's hopefully
)
.
Oh no, they're not with him - we haven't been doing regular weekends on+off...just as and when girls want to! They don't always want to sleep so they go alot on a Sunday for lunch.
On my birthday they're at a cheerleading competition...it happens once a year, how typical it's on my birthday:o They've been practising for this one since last year so I thought they have to do it - now it's coming dd1 really doesnt want to, she's leaving immediately after it anyway, but too late to drop out:( She's been doing it since she was about 7 and dd2 was 5...so a fair while now and at nearly 15 she's had enough. It'll save me a fortune;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
That's such a shame Pixie
maybe you can have a nice meal out in the evening just the three of you? No cooking all day then

£1.81 PAD to Barclaycard

The girls and I are going to do something nice on the Sunday - cinema and lunch probably. Eldest fancies an all you can eat chinese which sounds like a good plan, or I fancy Frankie+Bennys...mmm:DThat's such a shame Pixie

I've only had the offer of one survey today - but when I said I hadn't been on a date in over 3 years i was sceened out:rotfl::rotfl:£10 on OnePoll

It is a very hard slog at the moment, if I wasn't on £31 I might get very fed up and give up - but I am determined to hit £40 eventually;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Can't move for Valentine's cards :rotfl:
Decided on a whim last night to call the CSA and find out what is going on with my maintenance (or lack of it). I spoke to a really nice chap who told me that I am actually owed 5 1/2 weeks worth and that December's hasn't even been paid yet!
He's going to call the ex's employer and then give me a call back later today....
Sold a cot duvet on ebay, buyer not paid up yet.
Woke up at 3am with the light and TV still on
Hoping it stays dry so I can go for another run. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey

Same here - what a drag eh?!?!
Booo to the lack of maintenance payments...but hopefully it'll all catch up soon and it'll feel like a right treat:D Helps to have a really helpful CSA person - I had one woman once who made me feel bad for trying to get money from the ex...um hello, isnt that what the CSA are for?!:rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

That's shocking. The sole reason they exist is because these errant exes don't pay up.
It does really help I have found, to approach them how you would like to be approached. I would imagine that anyone who rings them up screaming blue murder would quickly find their case file shoved to the bottom of the pile. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey

The man from the CSA has just called back. He spoke to ex's employer and they said they were sorry, they knew they were getting behind and 7 weeks will be paid out on Friday. Once that's cleared CSA will send it to me. Should get it by Monday week. I would have rather had it this week especially as I am off Thursday and Friday but as long as it's on its way then when I get it, it will be a bonus.
It's a bit annoying because they said they have been deducting the money from him just not sending it on. I wonder if he knows this??? Not that he cares.
They also said they were going to keep on top of things for future payments so I should get the money every 4 or 5 weeks. Let's see shall we......It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey
