First of all postingalwaysposting I was only stating that it came with 512mb which I thought was quite good
and i know that you can upgrade via memory cards which you can now buy on Ebay for about £30 for a 4 gig card.
Hi Dazed, I kept an eye on what was said through yesterday at the american launch and today at the UK launch and it was said that the games will not be region free but at the American launch they announced that they would be region free. I thought by paying attention to what was said at these launches I could then post and let all here know some more info (remember not to bother again) . Also Dazed as far as the DVD player goes they stated that for the moment the option to purchase an optional added extra has been removed. I am looking at this for my 13 year old son but can not afford to much and having a DVD player would save me buying him one.0 -

I think the ad ons will be a few quid from Nintendo themselves but you will always get an OEM one cheaper. People will release them when they come out mate. I would get one of these over a 360 as you can play games on a PC that you can get on a xbox. BUT I have a pc that will play the games. Would your son like a xbox more or will he like a Wii ? The xbox may be packaged up good for xmas to combat the Wii sales so you never know until closer to the time. Sorry if I sounded a bit harsh when I posted get your facts right etcIf your sons mates have 360's then its probably better to get one of those but then again you dont want to spoil his xmas

ohh no gadget i have liked your opinion, i have thanked you for it if you have a look back, i think we will know more nearer the time of release, with anything like this you get speculation (sp?) and people (ie presidents) saying the wrong thing to make the thing sell :rotfl: i agree it is a shame if they have stated things and then remove them before launch (dvd player) but sadly this is the way they do it... many of the online forums about this has pointed out its flaws but as with most things they will sell and prob sell well, and i must say they have lauched it at just the right time too :rotfl: coinsidence that :rotfl:0 -
Thanks for the reply Dazed, my son seems quite excited by the Wii, to be honest so are the rest of the family, as it seems a nice change and something we all can enjoy and he has his PSP for Fifa and stuff, I just get fed up at being overcharged compared to other countries (even Australia is about £15 less)
I do think it will come down before Xmas in a suprise move by Nintendo. still a Wii while to wait but enjoy it if you get one. :beer:0 -
Cheers postingalwaysposting,:) Still looking forward to having a shot when it comes out. Quick question before I go, when it on display in stores to try, how do they stop people stealing the wireless controllers ?0
