Get that flack jacket on. Not too long to go with the bullet dodging really. Sure you can do it. But dont forget to fire a few rounds back now and again. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Morning
Am stalling as usual on the decluttering. Looking around house is usual disarray, but can't do everything all at once.
Got a payrise, linked to minimum wage increase. Looking at my annual salary, compared to this time last year have increased my take home by £350 a month. So we are at last on the right track.
Temporarily fallen out of love with ebay, after NPB, add all the time and effort it takes to list, take photos and all that I am giving it a miss for a while.
It is a beautiful Sunday morning and I'm going to seize the day and all that.DC.

Morning world !
Been absent for all the right reasons ! The difference that two months can make. It's true that you never know what life has in store for you.
Early October I was offered a job, turned it down because it was a side step, or so I thought. The owner of this company wouldn't take no for an answer, and I found it flattering, and also it was a huge boost to my self confidence. The job is actually a management position, in retail and increases my salary by £1240 a year.
I started two weeks ago. Find it incredibly stressful at the moment, but love it ! My new boss is a hard woman, very demanding and a perfectionist. It's not going to be easy.
Financially I am now deep in the trenches dodging bullets, but BBL has only £602.22 left to pay within the next 52 days.
Within the last year some of you and you know who you are put a lot of time and effort into boosting my employment chances, and helping me. It paid off in an indirect way, so thank you.
I don't visit much, but I'm on the right road and the next junction - known as 2012 - is looking good from here.DC.

Fantastic news DC and good to hear from you. It sounds to me like your confidence is shining through if she wouldnt take no for an answer. Even better news on the BBL front. 2012 is going to be a good one. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Am alive and kicking !
Have made some terrible financial decisions in the last 6 months. Wont go into it now.Is a long and hard slog, but I'm remaining positive.
Still loving the job, and still living in total chaos, at least I'm consistent !

Sorry to hear you have been having a tough time financially.
Glad though that the job seems to be going ok?
Did you manage to pay BBL off?
Hope things are getting more settled for you now
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
