we are going to perran sands in cornwall on 8 oct, the other places i suggested were around the torquay area and devon cliffs.

Got my confirmation through today for Devon Cliffs in October. For those of you that selected a luxury plus upgrade, I e-mailed Haven to ask what grade of caravan that got you and it is a deluxe model. Looks nice but no heating in the bedrooms so a little nervous as October is usually cold.

Thanks Mickie. Perran Sands looks really nice. We didn't put that one down because we didn't want to travel too far with a newborn baby. Will be interested to see what you think of it as would like to go to that one myself when the children are older.

Haven't had a reply yet but fear itwill be the same as we could only do october half term. What area sites were you looking at? Do you still get a priority code if you don't actually go on a holiday?

Supernatural_Girl....We have been to Perran Porth a few times (in a motorhome and not in their accommodation) ...can really not recommend Perran Sands enough though, it's near the beach and a wonderful site in a lovely location! :j
Devon Cliffs is great too..have a wonderful time!!

I also rang the sun number as not heard through the post yet! Ive got my first choice park but last date! Going to haven presthaven sands wales on 5th november, although haven say that park shuts on the 30th october???? Oh well its few days away for the kids:)

We tried Somerset and West Wales as we didn't want too far to travel on the Friday after work and school. Yes, you can still get lucky with a priority code because yor details are in their system. This time I applied in my name instead of my husband's, as we always have done, so maybe we'll have double the chance of a code next time. Hopefully I'll be able to offer one on here!!
