The Sun £9.50 holidays - anyone heard through the post yet?

Hi everyone - I was one of the unlucky people not to get a priority code this time and had to send my tokens away. Just wondering if anyone who had to do the same has heard back from them yet. It may be early days but up till this morning my cheque hasn't been cashed. I could only put down 1 date in October because I work in a school so I don't hold out much hope.

I have never done a sun holiday, but thought i would give it a go this time round. I sent my tokens and form off as soon as i had them all, but my cheques hasn't been cashed yet either.
Am i expecting to receive a response too early?

We might just be too eager!! I've been doing Sun Holidays for about 12 years but I havn't had to send the tokens off for years cos I'm usually lucky enough to get a priority code. I can't remember how long it used to take. Up until yesterday my cheque hadn't been cashed either. Fingers crossed!!

Some one on another thread said they got their confirmation through the post this morning. I assumed they had applied through the post, but thinking about it now you may still get confirmation through the post if you do it online with a priority reference. I've asked them how long ago they applied, will see what they say.

I'm concerned as we only put 4 parks down and then I read afterwards that you must put 5. Does anyone know if that is true? I'm completely new to the Sun holidays so am not surprised if I've done it wrong!

both my friend and I applied on the same day - with priority code - she had her invoice through on Wednesday and I havent heard yet!! - Suppose it just depends how they process and respond - there must be 1000,s I guess

We sent ours off via post and got it back this morning. Sent it off on the morning we collected our 10th token :-)

Hi i booked weekend at Butlins Minehead using a priority code,have received confirmation and leaflet allowing to book for friends and family for the same price (£9.50),so there are 12 of us going now.Worked well as my sister didnt receive a code this time and we live in the same street.

Hi everyone,

I still haven't heard through the post yet Does anyone know how long it usually takes to get your confirmation? Also does The Sun write to you or does the holiday park? If it's the holiday park I suppose some are quicker than others at getting in touch!

I've applied for mainly Haven sites and have ticked the luxury plus option. Has anyone done this before and if so can you remember what grade of caravan Haven allocate you and if the bedrooms are heated? If successful am taking my newborn baby son and don't want him to get cold

I sent my application by post too, its the first time, but i still haven't heard back. I sent it straight away but my cheque hasn't even been cashed yet so I am not holding out for much luck.

I feel the same way as you. It's been a couple of weeks since I sent my form off and still haven't heard anything or got my cheque cashed.

I would like to know for definite though as Breakfree holidays have one of the Haven parks I wanted available at the same price. If I'd known that before would have just booked it with them but now don't feel I can in case I have got the sun holiday. Can't afford two!

Also, from Wednesday you can book online a lot of the same holidays with the Daily Mail and know instantly if your choices are available. Once again, don't want to do that though and get 2 holidays!
