My OH has just agreed that we will take lunch into work instead of buying it every day - major break through in the whole 'spending less than we earn is the route to happiness' stakes - I do feel as though it has taken a fair bit of nagging to get here though!
Aiming to be debt & mortgage free by November 2018!

My snowballs are interesting beasts. They pop frm being totally reasonable to totally unreasonable. I would love to be about to commit 2k a month to debt/mortgage but I can't.

Foundational - sorry about mistaken identity, laguna we have is 200 a year tax anyway and we get maybe 28-30 around town. Can 1.7 cut it on the motorway??

Elvis - I owuld of thought it would of been alot more gutsy too.

Mrs Jojo - every little helps. My OH already takes rolls to work but its the other things like babybells, chocolate, crisps. He has a physical job and takes a small feast daily. I am not complaining because I know he needs the energy boost but would it harm to drop a brand on crisps or chocolate??

  • Hi Lilac

Not much motorway driving done in our FRV but I reckon it's pretty powerful - there are 1.8, 2.0 and deisel (pretty popular but will be dearer) FRVs and I think its a case (Financial strategy permitting) of looking out for a 'find'. There are relative bargains to be had.

Re snowballing, I know what you mean, they are interesting beasts, frustrating and inspiring in turn... but jolly important to keep doin' 'em.

right another £250 off OH store card, £130 overpayment to my mortgage and more later this month I hope. My stomach and jeans seem locked in combat and I don't think my jeans will be winning that much longer. Plans for tomorrow are get some maternity clothes.

On the car front nthing much happening. I posted on teh motoring board and they sugested a picasso. I am not sure I like that idea, they have strange positioned gear knobs :)

OH being a bit annoying still, he is tired, I am a planner he thinks things fall iin to place automatically and thinking about it annoys me.
