Seems that way. So what do they do ? If the government just gave up it wouldn`t be so bad, but they seem to be hell bent on refuelling the train, and greasing it`s axles.
Oooh, I like analogies.
They should put a stop to all housing development except Social Housing/Low cost housing. The housebuilders will have a choice either build low cost affordable housing /Social Housing or they go bust.Im sure they would adapt, they just need a poke from the stick rather than the carrot dangled ,which has happend for the last 3 decades.0 -

There was a temporary halt on student applications from a few south asian countries last year.
There are colleges that do get closed down but you must also not forget that higher education in the UK is one of the top ten exports. The universities would not survive if there were no international students. There are now CAS and English tests in place for those wanting to continue their education here.
You can't stop those who choose to overstay and become illegal. Yet the government make it harder for those who do continue to try and play by the rules so that those who can evade do so. There must be a better balance point.
What we are talking about is a crummy shop jammed between a kebab house and a nail parlour with a sign over the door declaring itself something like the Oxford College of further Education. It will usually have a website to that effect to give worldwide exposure. The foreign "student" pays a big tuition fee (a payment for getting the client into the country),the fake college then supplies paperwork to support the visa application..job done. In Manchester there are loads of them. I expect there are also plenty in certain areas of Birmingham, London and yorkshire.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0
