You must be aware that this restriction doesn't apply for the duration. You will also be aware of asylum seekers living in 2million pound mansions? Most of the migrants come from Europe anyway which is why a cap on NON-EU immigration has been put in place.
I believe that if the true extent of the problem was known, there would be riots on the streets and probably no need for sites like this - people would not have to watch every last penny - there would be enough to go round.

Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. I'll stop working on my reasonably paid job, stop contributing by paying taxes, stop volunteering at a deprived area primary school and start thinking how I can claim for my £65 a week benefits.

Please, there are many types of immigrants, just as there are many types of British persons. Some choose to work, some don't.

Don't let the newspapers (especially the rabid Daily Mail) teach you what you should be thinking.

We need to take a harsh line with these lot taking the !!!! coming here. it will ruin this country. the pc brigade and do-gooders are spoiling this country.i am afraid its because of these pencil necked beardy types we cannot stand up and tell them to f off - now that would be racisit wouldnt it.
yet they are racist towards us in almost every way, and are hypocrites for trying to live how they want in our country, they should live how WE live or go home, no banging up mosques, you go there you must abide by therer rules, fair enough - but to them come here and preach there silly religion, and take benefits. send them back before its too late - well it already is, this should have been stopped years ago, people will only look back and realise this is correct in 50 years when uk is radically different.

mr powell was chastised for saying there will be blood on the streets about 50 years ago - how right he was, and right he will be. most of the gun crime, london, is the blacks. most of the sucide bombers muslims,
now dont get me wrong whites are no saints, but most of these other groups simply dont value life like we do.

When I asked if he meant some of the EU migrants he said no, not just them but the non EU immigrants, his justification was that he had to work for everything he has, so why should anybody that hasn't worked for it and paid taxes get better treatment just because they are new to the country, I nearly dropped my cup of tea, but to be honest I could see exactly where he was coming from.

This bloke came to the UK as a kid, and his parents worked themselves into the ground to give all the children a good education, strong morals and as good a house as they could afford.

If anybody works in public service they can see that there is a much larger problem with immigration than any politician will admit.

It isn't uncommon for the Police and Ambulance service in some parts of London to not have a single "customer" all day that was actually born in the UK, some will go for days and not go to a "customer" that has ever worked.

I honestly wish I wasn't in a job where I see this everyday and could happily go to work everyday thinking this was still the country I grew up in. Without seeing what this growing underclass of economically inactive leaches is doing to the coutry and ecomomy.

Some want a cheap Polish builder, but do you really want the Ambulance and Police to spend a £1000 of taxpayers money going out to the bus where he has fallen into a drunken sleep on his way home, as bus drivers are no longer allowed to try and wake them up, this call will normally come down as Cardiac Arrest, at the Bus Terminus.

When I got married my wifes passport said "no recourse to public funds", so why do we insist on giving money to immigrants, if they can't or won't work then send them home, they managed to get here so they can manage to get home.

Why should I have had to pay exorbitant private rents for years so that the cheap housing meant for young families trying to save up for a mortgages is given to immigrants, am I less entitled because I work, are my kids going to be less entitled because they don't get drunk and take drugs.

This country is on the decline, both financially and morally, the !!!!less are rewarded every step of the way.

Why don't you quit then? Your organisation could then maybe employ someone who doesn't have such an issue with people from other countries.

IMO Bigjl is only saying exacting what millions of people in this country feel......

Fact 1 : Why should we still be paying child benefit to families in Poland who worked here over 6 months ago??? If they come back, sign up to an employment agency , get 3 weeks payslips they can then go back home and are still entitled to child benefit ........

Fact 2:Social Housing is/has been given to immigrant families (EU) instead of native families , who may have been on the waiting lists for years,just because they had less points, it has happend .......

FWIW I believe benefits should be linked to NI stamps, the more you pay in the more benefits your entitled too, irrespective of colour and nationality....

Woah, calm down. Where did I take issue with any of the points raised? Don't think I did. What I did take issue with was their rather skewed viewpoint that all the social ills of this country are down to foreigners. I presume from the person's quote that they are part of an ambulance crew. And from their original point:

What on earth does someone being Polish have to do with ambulance crews picking up drunken morons? Are all the drunken morons you see on a Friday and Saturday night wasting the time of police, ambulance and other public services all Polish? The last time I looked they weren't, so why single this out as an example? Seems a bit of a stupid and, dare I say it, slightly prejudiced point of view.

If I looked at our country and saw a mass of economically active, socially responsible, well behaved English citizens contrasting with lazy, socially disrespective and lawless foreigners then I might start to understand the points you and the other chappy talk about. But I simply see a mix of the good and the bad, and it generally has nothing to do with their country of birth. Hence why I don't see the point discussing it in these terms.

Because I enjoy saving lives, and don't really care where they are from, but I hate !!!!takers with a passion, I have been to Ghana several times and they don't allow this kind of crap over there, they get out there and work hard. But I don't see why if somebody comes here to relax and get all the gravy without buying the ingredients or even helping to stir the pot, are hard working people an underclass to have the !!!! taken, I don't think so, do you.

My point being that I wished I didn't know these things that I do because of my job is that I could continue in happy obliviousness as in fact the majority of the UK do, including the bearded lefties and do gooders.

The reason I have said it is from experience, you picked up on the word Polish and ignored that rest of the post, and you are correct all the drunks that we are called to on buses late at night aren't Polish, some are Lithuanian, Russian and Latvian.

We used to go to "drunk on a bus" calls once a month, it is now two or three times a night, how many shifts have you spend answering Emergency calls?

Political correctness is the biggest problem with this country, and that is a fact, do you remember the advert about benefit fraud on TV, why was every face that I could see white, really, so my next door neighbours that have been getting their mortgage paid for three years are white, they also don't sublet their old flat in Hackney for £800 a month profit either, my mistake.

I quite agree that anyone chosing to move to any country and chosing to do nothing is not something we should be advocating. But are you seriously telling me that when you look out at the ills of our country you see immigrants as the main issue we have?

You told a story about your resentment at picking up Polish drunks, do you see Polish people getting drunk as the main resource drain in this country for ambulances then? I'm no academic in this area, but I reckon if I did a study accross the whole of Britain in to drunkeness in our towns and cities and looked at the types of people causing trouble and wasting the resources of public services, Polish people (or indeed any other nationality) would not come out as higher factor than British people. So I wondered why you singled this particlar nationality out?
