Even if you buy them at £1 per cartridge from Ebay this is a good deal say for RSH which immediately gives £2 per £1 points.
BUT there are complaints on other threads about cartridges going astry in the post or not being accepted for recycling.
As you have gleaned the 500 points for a used cartridge is nonsense.
Can I ask who RSH are?
Thanks0 -

Is this everywhere in the country - I just asked at my store and they said it is up to 100 points for each cartridge (as it has always been) - I mentioned had been told 500 points and the woman on customer services laughed and said you can buy new for £9.97 HP300 why would we give you 500 points (£5) for an empty cartridge.
Thanks
Tesco often have an offer where you get 500 extra points when you buy 2 HP ink cartridges.

I only ever seem to have about a 75% success rate when sending cartridge sfor recyclingPrivate Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA0

That sums it up, just about.
I sent just one, to test the system, in a Freepost envelope provided by Tesco in their store. The address given is Tesco Cancer Research UK, The Recycling Factory, Boston PE21 7TX. It's the first time I've heard of them.
Anyway, before you seal it you fill in the tear-off slip and tick the box for a donation or to have 100 points added to your Clubcard account. I ticked for the 100 points, placed the slip in with the spent cartridge, stuck it down and posted it.
No sign of the 100 points on the latest statement, so I phoned about them, and I'm still waiting for the promised return call from Tesco Clubcard. If the points are not given after so long waiting then maybe they will never be given. That's no deal!0
