The [STRIKE]Asda Extra Special[/STRIKE] I mean de identified 300g sponge puddings in stock at the moment are getting ridiculously cheap now. A case of 12 of the toffee ones has gone down to just a quid. If you like sponge puddings you can get yourself a case each of toffee, syrup & belgian chocolate ones for just £6.94 I don't suppose they will be around for long at that price though.

    they are 4 for a £1 now....

  • Those are the longer dated ones, the case for £1 ones (now sold out) were dated 20/08/11 the other are dated 03/09/11

But still 25p each compared to the £2 shop price for each of the toffee, syrup or belgian chocolate sponge puddings is a pretty good saving.

I placed my first order last night. Mostly the different couscous packets, but couldn't resist some of the syrup sponge puddings!

Got up early to check online when my parcel would be delivered, (they give you a 1-hour time slot on the day itself), to find that it had been delivered according to the website. Went to the front door and - lo and behold - one giant parcel!!!! Well done that driver for not waking me up!

Unpacked everything now and, as usual, everything was spot on. Breakable jars/bottles were wrapped in bubble wrap and laid on a bag of polystyrene granules, so very secure. The only casualties were a couple of the nan breads but, hey, not a problem. I always cut them up to fit them in the toaster anyway.

Well done Approved Food and Scott the picker.

I got my first delivery yesterday at 8am! As well as never running out of loo paper again, (or sponge puds) I got an added bargain of a big box and several little ones that my children have spent yesterday turning into a car/train/boat. :-)

Just wanted to express our thanks to the AF team for a great bit of help they provided to us the other week !
We had placed an order then realised it would be delivered on the day Hubby would be in hospital having some surgery on his back (supposed to be a day job but turned out to be a bit longer ) E mailed AF and asked if it was possible to make the delivery shipment so it would be a day later , AF then proccessed our order "express" and we got the parcel next day !!
    Hows that for service :T:T:T
Hubby is back home now and enjoying his Sponge Puds ! and everything else he can get his mitts on
So " Thank You " AF , it was really appreciated !
