just got my 2nd order and i'm well thrilled, i got a lucky box aswell which was filled with crisps, nut mix and chip shop curry, got some of the fruit bite things they were a case for £1 and they taste just like the ones you get in the sm only bigger wish i'd bought 2 cases now, i was got popcorn but didn't relise it was the huge bag i thought it was just the wee ones so i'm happy about that aswell.

what i'm not happy about is that dpd left it in my outside my garage and signed for it as garage even tho i was here, didn't even ring the door bell, our road is full of builders and it was in clear view of the road and it was really heavy i couldn't lift it in i had to lift the boxes out of the big box

    oh and i missing 3 kinder beuno's

    ^ That's bad about delievery.

Our delivery man was not happy, one of the UHT goats milk cartons I had ordered had leaked...all over his trousers  Poor bloke. They really weren't packed very well, but no other item was damaged (layers of cardboard & the man's trousers seemed to have soaked most of it up!) so still accepted it.

Shame really because I'm very pleased with the rest of the order, great value over all. Just very wary of ordering milk again, might stick to stuff that can't leak!

My order arrived yesterday and as usual I was very happy with the products, but for the second time I wasn't happy to find that a big jar of sauce had split all over the contents of one of the boxes  Last time it was branston pickle and this time it was prawn cocktail sauce..why can it never be the tomato ketchup or something less whiffy? :rotfl: Quick email and they've refunded me for the damaged goods so yet again, excellent customer service and made me a happier customer than I was when I realised it had happened again :D Highly recommend :T:T

Has anyone tried the scone or nann bread mixes? I normally make them from scratch but the mixes are so cheap!

I've used the scone mixes regularly (different makes from different sources) - occasionally, if the mix is well past it's BBD, you may need to add a little raising agent, but otherwise they are fine.
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

I have used approved food at least 4 times now. I love the excitement of opening the boxes and seeing what is inside. It is like christmas, without the kids tantrums!

I cant wait to order again.

Note to self: Need more storage space.

I've never understood it when people say that about approved food. If you only ordered the goods a couple of days beforehand then where does the mystery come into it? Surely you already know what you ordered.

Think they probably mean the lucky boxes that you can get
    sometimes for a £1 ?

I have had the sharwoods nan bread mixes, they are excellent,
better than ones you buy in supermarket :)

Well yes, but also when you make up a big order and especially if you take a chance on some things without really having seen them properly, I find I can't really remember the full details. And of course kids wouldn't know, so they are excited- and it is not like getting your Tesco shopping, as the food is usually ( at least in my case) snacks and drinks which are generally received with more excitement.

Same in this house :rotfl: Especially the storage bit - I only have 2 food cupboards and a set of shelves, and they're groaning under the weight of my latest order :o Infact the cans of lilt & cola I ordered are living on the dining table as I have nowhere to put them :o:rotfl:
