I just ordered loads of chick peas as would like to make my own hummus have no idea what size tins will turn up? has anyone else ordered these? i added 5 to basket
Seriously/ 5? It says it is 2600g. A regular tin is 400g so these are very big catering tins- 6 times the size? But then again you could probably mush them up then freeze them.

hummus freezes really well, had some my friend had home made, frozen and defrosted and it was as good as fresh. So saves on washing up to make a giant portion :)
  • yes these are seriously large catering tins, as I find each time I stub my toes on mine on my pantry floor. :)

  • I am so annoyed I could scream....I know its not approved foods fault but their courier is sh!te.
I oredered on the 26th October, it was shipped on the 28th, was at the depot in my area at 9am on the 29th due for delivery on the 1st....all ok so far.
Got a text at 10am yesterday delivery would be between 8am and 6pm...no timed slots as I am in the wrong area???? so I sit round the house all day waiting with the tracking thingy up on the screen being refreshed every 5 minutes (patience not my strong point). Suddenly at 5pm the screenshot says "attempted delivery, nobody home left card landmark black door")strange I am sat here and my door is UPVC white.....straight on the phone to company who are very sorry but we cant contact the driver but he has been having problems with his sat nav.
I had a rant as I couldnt understand why they didnt phone me, I then apologised and rebooked for today.
Had checked the tracking thingy again this morning and it has been showing as your delivery is going out today until 10 mins ago when it changed to at depot...phoned office again and told not to worry as it will be delivered today just keep waiting.
So I really hope they turn up today or I will be going to the depot tomorrow and asking for fuel costs as it is a 70 mile round trip with 2 kids (3yrs and 18 months)
I MAY HAVE NOTHING.....BUT ITS MY NOTHING

Agreed that's rubbish service reallylost - do they think you have nothing else to do?!
It often seems to be the couriers who let down the clients, doesn't it? (Have recently had a courier leave a package in the shed- not where I had asked! - despite me waiting in the house. Not nearly as bad as yours, but annoying enough).
