Played around with my mortgage spreadsheet this morning, and by my rough calculations, my mortgage free date is around June 2019, so we would potentially pay it off 22 years early and saving around £105,000.00 in interest :D:D

To borrow (sort of) a phrase from Tony Hancock - £105,000 . That's a whole houseful

Whoa at the interest you'll save! If thats not motivation I don't know what is.

Glad things are going well at the minute with the IVF....keeping up positive thoughts for you both.

Thanks SAHM... Interest saved is a major key player in our motivation to be MF :p
    Thanks for your kind thoughts..:D

Hi Froggy, just a short post as I'm on pesky iPhone and I dont find it conducive to lengthy prose! Are you a member of topcashback as having had a quick peek it looks like they are doing c. £5 for online grocery sign up and delivery.

    Good luck!

    Regards

Been to see a recruitment agency tonight, it was ok, nothing exceptional.. However the car park charges were extortionate £5.40 for 50 minutes!!! For that price they could have at least wash it or give me a kilo of gold!! Just purely shocking...
Came home to cook Princess a lovely tea and chill out with her and Elvis... :D

  • Hi,

I'm a lurker. I am a MFW and will do some OPing once I've paid off the credit card for the rather nice holiday we have just had. Anyway, just wondering how I go about making a spreadsheet which shows how much interest I've saved etc. Would someone mind explaining it to me in idiots terms? Or show me a link. Thanks so much.

    Hi remote

There are a few versions for the calculators that you will find in the sticky at the top of this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/155707
    Hope this helps
