    Evening all! :j

Nice surprise in the post today.. The £10 Mr T voucher I ordered from VO on the 15th.. Now I know it takes roughly 10 days following the day of request..as they send it second class..

Awful day at work..Think everybody was on a mission to make my day hell..but hey ho life goes on, tomorrow is Friday, and a long 3 day weekend.. much deserved of course..

OH "Princess" spent a good part of the day shopping in the Trafford Centre..She did not spend that much (very surprising!!:p) and I even got a couple of treats out her trip..

I can't wait to make the next OP next week..

I find the best way to stop my OH spending when she goes to town is to make her take the kids with her :D

Another OP on the way, very good!

We are "working" on the kids bit :o at the moment, so that solution does not apply as yet.. I think she got tired quickly yesterday as I was not there to carry the bags :rotfl:

You will be happy to know that next week is likely to be another LP styly OP (roughly £1300 I reckon)..

Thanks TYO - Much appreciated.. No real secret to share, I think she only wanted a bit of fresh air, as she has been at home since Friday last week..

Yay! Bring on the next OP, I like to keep Northern Rock busy, I would not want them to get bored :rotfl::rotfl:

Yes I know you are and have my fingers and toes crossed for you! never give up on it, my OHs parents favourite story was how they had a choice of one final go at IVF or another holiday. They chose the holiday and whilst there realised she was pregnant, so keep the faith.

Lol no bag carrier is also a good way to limit the spends!

    Ohh nice OP!

Any other projects on review since the bathroom?

Next project is ongoing.. We are still working on the kitchen.. The painting has been done.. I need to strip the cupboards and paint, we also need a new cooker & oven.. We did not go for a brand new kitchen as the £10K involved would unlikely be made back on the sale of the house.. OH also wants new wooden effect flooring throughout downstairs and the hallway, stairs & landing needs a lick of paint too.. The garden will need looking into at some point as well..
So no rest for the wicked..

    Cheers

It's Mother's day in France on Sunday... I have found a kind of local equivalent of MSE and got myself a discount code, so I ordered a huge bunch of flowers to be delivered on Sunday.. My brother got her a book to top it off.. Hope she will be pleased..

Think my MSE ways are rubbing off overseas, as my DM is getting chickens to reduce her living costs... I will for sure enjoy my very fresh scrambled eggs next time I am on holidays over there..
