    Sorry to hear that Froggy.

3 day headaches require at least two different painkillers and copious caffeine for me (preferably as part of the painkilling tablet but can also drink it).

Hope your day gets better soon.

    Peǁ'okuwasu Froggy,

Don't jinx it. Asking for a third piece of bad luck at the moment isn't something to be playing with!! Hope everything is well down your way. Easy one on the holidays - deny the request...

On the emails, I've found that, much like phone calls, deleting the lot is a great fix. If it was a nonsense to begin with, nothing lost. If it was important, they'll come back soon enough for an answer! There's a book deal in this game for me yet.

    Cheers,

    Billy

    Bonjour Billy! :D

Nice to see you back around...I won't jinx it, but I seem to accumulate problems/issues that have nothing to do with me..
Everything ok at home, OH is working from home all week, so less stress there...
The one on holiday..I denied it, she escalated it, and the muppets in HR agreed to it so I have no say in it.. Billy, can you come down to my place and teach them a lesson please? I have no time to fight, and its not worth it..
The email bit, I just can't avoid, I did do a quick sweep of what I am not that keen on, but the rest I will have to have a look at it.. Furthermore I am stuck in a meeting all afternoon from which nothing positive or remotely interesting will come out of.. Oh the joys...:o

Indeed, the mighty Billy from Scotland has been shortlisted for the Pulitzer Prize :rotfl:

    Cheers

Oh, oh, oh I know the answer to this one! :) It could.......rain nails (ow) or golden syrup (imagine the mess)........human eating aliens could land........Cherly Cole could be news worthy (oh !!!!!!, already happened)

    Or it could get better

You might ..........find some loose change...........have a nice meal.......kill the mutants in HR.......

It did end up getting better..I am back home, had a nice dinner.. However did not find any loose change, but have ignored the mutants in HR (apologies to all HR people on here) but the ones I have to work with are pure incompetents!!
My holiday will go ahead no matter what.. There's no way I will miss my first ever trip to Scotland :)

    Khub oase Froggy,

Glad to hear the day got better. Bloody HR, typically ruining everyone's fun! you need only damn their eyes and sweep out of the room with Gallic flourish to put them in their place. Tell them that if they fail to respect your wishes, I'll both reserve a spot in my blockbuster bestseller in the "when muppets try their hand..." chapter and wish all the rain in Scotland on them.

    Cheers,

    Billy
