Thanks LP.. Nice to have you back around... I am sure we will enjoy Scotland, we definitely need the time away, just to relax the two of us...;)
Good news this morning, my boss is away for the next two weeks.. I will surely appreciate the peace & quiet.. A fair few people are away as well this week, probably due to kids holidays...
The banana cake is going down nicely, I think its done the trick...Sweet bribery always seems to work!
OH & I are not doing anything for Valentine's day, we just don't like the whole "commercial" aspect of that day.. Just a right rip off.. As OH is off Friday & Monday, we were maybe intending on going somewhere just for a day trip Saturday or Sunday.. The Lakes sound good if the weather holds up.. We were there last year to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and would love to return to that little caf! that makes wonderful afternoon tea, with hot scones **insert drooling smilies**.. To be discussed with OH when she comes back tonight...
Have a great day everybody...
Cheers

Just come back from work, traffic was a nightmare .. If at least I could be productive while I sit in traffic!!
One of my staff called in sick this morning, first time in almost 3 years, I sincerely think he went for a job interview.. Oh well they are all deserting me now...:o
I tried to look at places to go & stay at the weekend, but we are struggling to find a place we both like.. We have been in contact with the place OH stayed at with work a few weeks ago.. Will discuss with her when she gets back from work (probably around 8.30 ish)..
No tea to cook tonight, as we are having leftover chilli with spuds & salad..
TV dilema tonight between Biggest Loser and Champions League Football... Opinions welcome
Learnt a good one today: Did you know that the word STRESSED is the same as DESSERTS spelled backwards!! It must be a sign!!

Good win at table tennis last night 7-3.. I won all 3 of my individual games and the double as well.. The injury I picked last week seems to have resolve itself, only a little bit of bruising left..
We have some Tesco vouchers left over for a fish restaurant in Manchester, that we will probably use for Sunday lunch, that will be a free treat (just the drinks to pay for)..Still don't know what we will do on Saturday, it will probably depend on the weather..
OH & I have decided to sit down this weekend to review our finances as some things are not making sense..We have moeny put aside for the new bathroom (fitter in cash, bathroom 0% over 12 months) in savings, so no worries there, but we still put £500 each in that account every month..At the moment its meant for a new kitchen, and we are worried that we will have to pay privately for IVF treatment (fingers crossed we still have one cycle on the NHS, probably in April).. So lots of head scratching to be had, until we find the right balance between savings, IVF, kitchen and OP's !?!?!? Any miracle cure anyone??

Greetings from rainy Oop North! (soon to be snowy apparently! :T)
OH & I had a great weekend, very relaxing.. She was off on Friday, so I got back from work to a spotless house and a candlelit dinner... Yummy homemade fish pie..:p
Saturday, went to Ikea to get a new lamp for the lounge, and a couple of other small bits & pieces, then watched the footy in the afternoon..
Sunday was "free" lunch thanks to Tesco vouchers @ Livebait.. and quiet afternoon.. Reviewed the budget and decided to make a £2K OP at the end of this week, as the bathroom fixtures will be paid over the next year through 0% deal at B&Q...
I am off to table tennis tonight, and I have been asked to sub for another team in the division above on March 16th! My form at the moment must have impressed the coaches! I am thrilled, what an honour!!
OH & I will go through boxes of CD's & DVD's to be sold this week.. We were thinking of going through Music Magpie + Topcashback (10%) - Thanks TPA for the tip!!:p..
That's about it for today.. Hope everybody is well..

Am finding a lot of regular mfw diaries that I havent even read before, am really embarrased. Have read through most of it Froggy and very inspired by your totals. Amazing.
As for your offer on the food recipes I need an idiots guide as I said on Michelles.
Do I need to fry the bacon and veg before I put it in the quiche? I am so dumb when it comes to cooking. Any other easy recipes with veg in would be good as I want to get more fruit and veg in our diet. We are already on the smoothies and they are going down well with the kids for fruit. They eay fruit anyway but this will help me more.A nice quiche with your eggs would be great too! 3 eggs, 150g of low fat cottage cheese, salt & pepper, whatever filling you fancy (bacon, ham, cheese, leeks, mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers...).. All in an oven dish (grease it first) then 25/30 minutes in the oven (180 to 200c depending on your oven)..no need for pastry either!!
Cheers
Froggy
