    Morning all :j

£52.19 added to the Masterplan fund this morning..taking the total above 11% of target achieved..

FD has also confirmed the switch of my current account for mid February.. I just need to make the necessary transfers now to get the £125 bonus..

Hope you all had a great weekend..

  • Hello Froggy
Been dipping in and out of your diary with interest.

Just wondering. How easy was it to transfer to FD? I have been banking with Natwest for a lot longer than I care to reveal, and I have always been put off transferring, after a quick analysis of how much time it would take and how much stress could ensue. But I do have my beady eye on the £125, so would appreciate your view!

Also, I need to be able to visit a branch to pay stuff in - what banks can you use if you have an account with FD?

    Many thanks
    Curly

    Morning Curly

The switch to FD was very easy.. I did it online through MoneySupermarket to get the £125 bonus.. Then a quick phone call the following day to setup telephone & online banking.. They have dealt with all the DD & standing orders.. I can't fault them so far..
In order to pay stuff in, you can use HSBC or they also provide envelopes to pay cheques in..

    Cheers

  • Morning Frogmeister,

£125 bonus for switching, ohh thats quite nice. I've been with Halifax since I was 4 when I first opened the account and i've never had any issues so dunno if i would move but that is quite tempting.

I moved from Halifax as I had a few problems with them and dont think they are quite the standard they used to be, moved to FD and they have been fab, I could write everything down I love but I did that on Caths thread and its looks a bit wierd!! but do it you wont regret it, plus they have fab mortgage/saving rates once your a customer too.

I'm moving to them to get their mortgage deal. Froggy, you can refer anyone that wants to join.

Quick Q though, i don't want salary paid in so can I just move money in and out?
