  • Yeah I think I would let the agent show them round too. OH however did all our viewings, mostly because she likes to talk I think.....

  • As the estate agent is paid to sell properties, they should always do the viewings in my opinion. Drives me mad if they expect you to show people round.

Hope they fell in love with it though, as that would be a great start to 2012.

    Best wishes Tilly

  • Hi Froggy

    Just catching up (again!).

Good to see the masterplan coming together, you are going great with that - and a viewing too, what can I say.

You are really good for looking after your friend like that, it must be a difficult time and I'm sure you have helped her loads with your hospitality.

Hope you get some good news from the viewing.....

    Morning all

No idea how the viewing went.. The estate agent does them all.. It would annoy me too much to have people going through my home and criticising everything in front of me.. I was at work at the time..

    Cheers

    Kuma Froggy,

It's much better being on the other side of the criticism. I wouldn't enjoy someone criticisng the squalor - they couldn't critique it any better than we do anyway mind!

We have a Colin with us who is quite free with pointing out issues, regardless of whether the folk are there or not. It is amusing to see folk not knowing where to look when we catch certain things that they've tried to hide.

Hope there's an offer winging its way to you in short order...

    Cheers,

    Billy

  • Stay calm, and think of your new life - in almost all cases I have witnessed, redundancy is the trigger for many positive things happening so the next chapter begins......

    Good luck Tilly

    Bay Deeya Froggy,

Us HR folks are a reasonable bunch. There are some options in how to handle the necessary processes. I can't see anyone turning away a decent compromise. I would suggest offering a "first to 21, winner keeps their job" ping pong tournament.

    Cheers,
