    Froggy!

How could you desert the tropical north of England with its balmy climate? ;)

Seriously, hope it turns into a great move you all of you. Elvis will have to have a phrase book to help him with all the local felines....

Guess what, doubt I will miss this miserable weather.. I am sure Elvis will manage the move no problems.. The only issue is probably the 200 miles trip in the car.. We will think about it nearer to the time..

Went to B&Q last night to get the kitchen flooring sorted.. Awful customer services..Seems like they only have staff on duty at the weekend.. I shall be taking my custom elsewhere..

I have received another £10 M&S voucher from VO for my Mum & OH's shopping spree..

Can't wait to go home, think I am having the start of a cold, and so is OH.. As a good deed, I though I could get the shed roof of my neighbour repaired before she gets home.. Part of it has been blown away in the storm in the last couple of days..

I have paid off the monthly credit card bill.. And I have renewed OH's car insurance for £350 (LV again as they came out cheaper than others even with cashback)..

    Hope everybody is well?

    Cheers

We've moved long distances with our cats a few times and we've always got a sedative from the vets. Keeps kitty spaced out enough to lie sleepily in the cat basket for the journey without putting them completely unconscious. The dose is based on the cat's weight to make sure they don't get too much.

Makes the journey much less stressful for all concerned. :)

Thanks, will be making a visit to the Vet beforehand to get some advice.. I will need to get his vet file moved down South as well at the same time..

    Thanks

We used to take our dog to the vet for a sedative every year around fireworks season because he found it so terrifying otherwise. Remember that the sedative will take anything up to an hour to take effect, so give it in plenty of time. And don't do what we did, and decide after half an hour that it's not working and give another dose - our dog ended up completely stoned by the time both doses had started working. :rotfl: (I'm glad to say he was totally fine the next morning and didn't suffer any long term effects.)

How's your mum doing now Froggy?

PS, you never did tell us how you managed to get out of the Zoo trip with the outlaws?
