Not many news apart from that.. Just waiting for Billy to call from Vegas to say he's won the jackpot and my cheque is in the post :rotfl::rotfl:
Cheers

Adio Froggy,
I hope you're not basing your timescales on a massive win! Thus far, the small amount of gambling we've managed has been decidedly average. I did notice that 5 reds had hit in a row as we passed a roulette table at Bellagio yesterday so Gally's refusal to let it ride for a wee while would have seen her miss out on $150. We might be better looking at a specific number @ 33-1 odds...
Cheers,

Hi Froggy :hello:
I've not been on here for two weeks or so so just caught up with your thread! What can I say but boy, you've really been going through it haven't you
I hope your mum is continuing to improve?
Wishing you a great time with your father and family :j
PS, if you do get to the stage of looking at renting your house out in order to move down south I would recommend looking at the corporate lets; I have my old place rented out through a corporate letting company and in my view it has a number of advantages:- tenants typically have their own home elsewhere so are not looking to 'make it their own' and seem to more respectful of the property
- not there 7 nights a week as return to their own home at weekends
- monthly rental typically more than other private individuals etc

ATT
Hey ATT
Nice to have you back around here.. My mum is back home and resting.. I am due to call her tonight to see how she is doing.. Could not quite call at the weekend as my dad was around all the time..
ATT, please tell me more about corporate lets, that sounds really interesting.. Any link you could send me please? That solution would be ideal for us..
Thanks

Hello! :j
I am back! I have dropped the frogs off back at the airport this morning, fighting through the rain and the traffic jams..
It was pure hard work and very draining having them here with us.. Thank god, they only come over once every 10 years! The visit at Old Trafford was interesting..lots to see and some nice pictures too.. (LP you must be going mental I know, but it was purely a tactical move to find out about the opposition, honest)... We did not go to the Lakes as weather was pants and my Dad can't walk very far (disabled, had a stroke 4 years ago).. So we ended up at the Trafford Centre, Dad & I sat in Starbucks talking, while OH & Cruella (my evil step mother) went shopping.. You should have seen the shock horror on Princess' face! Think OH deserves a knighthood for bravery, for going shopping with her..
I received a confirmation of my latest OP with updated figures over the weekend, so will update my signature later on..
The painter came back with a very decent quote, so we have accepted it, and he will start work on 6th August..
I have sold our 5 year old king size bed to a work colleague for £100 so we can start changing the rooms ready to put the house on the market for rental.. We are trying to maximise the size of the rooms...
I have not been near any surveys lately, so will have to pick that up pretty sharply..
We are off down South this coming weekend, for OH's grandparents diamond wedding anniversary party...
Hope everybody is ok?
Cheers

17 for me too Billy :jA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
