Another Froggy fan here saying you really do sound like the perfect husband :A. It did make me laugh though as you then went on to give a list of actions - that is so man like! Whereas Princess would have been saying 'I think this....I feel that...... I hope we......' etc. Still, that's men & women for you - Vive la Difference :).

Hope all works out for you both, and happy date nights :kisses2:

Thanks all.. I don't know where you get the idea of perfect or ideal husband, you must be mistaken :o I do think that marriage is clearly a work in progress, if you stop working on it, then it quickly collapses...

I have made some enquiries about the kitchen refits and awaiting call backs, and have also emailed local decorator to get a quote for the painting work..

Thats about it so far.. Need to look into the flooring.. Anybody remembers the name of the flooring place that recently gone bust? I might go there and strike a bargain deal :rotfl: if only I can remember the name of the place...

Had a genius moment at work also.. Remember the turkish crook, I was pursuing the other week? Well after a bit of investigation, I have found out he has been running a scheme to get money out the company I work for.. I escalated my findings, expecting at least a pat on the back for saving the company a hell of a lot of money and their reputation... Guess what, not seen or heard anything..:(

Oh well, lets move on to better & brighter things..:D

    Froggy ;)

    Ps: Special mentions:
GG, you're a nutter, but you're always right, so respect for that!
Lois, thanks for your kind message, means a lot
Lilb, yes comparison is a bit weird, but I get what you are on about ;)
Cath, I am looking forward to the dates.. Do you do home delivery for Pavlovas??
Twiddy, you are welcome anytime mate, please delurk more often, why don't you start a diary?

OK, so you're merely above a very low average :rotfl:

Well done on catching the crook, what a shame your company didn't feel they had to acknowledge your efforts.

I wasn't aware of a flooring company going bust, am sure if you google it something will come up though.

Everyone is having new kitchens except me!

It won't be a brand new kitchen, we just can't afford it, it will just be a facelift.. We are looking into our options at the moment..

    It's not Carpetright, is it?

Well, well, well.. The PYO farm was great!! And what a bargain, 2 bags full of goodies for £15, including strawberries, cherries, raspberry, chillis, lettuce, and from the farm shop: scones, bread, frozen croissants, local drinks.. Will definitely go there again :D:D It was good fun too..
Weather lis gorgeous here, we had breakfast at our brand new garden furniture set (B&Q yesterday 20% off).. Yummy american fluffy pancakes with the PYO fruit, maple syrup for OH and chocolate sauce for me! :p
I am at £9.75 on VO this morning and added another survey.. Oh so close to payout again.. I am building a stash of vouchers to treat my mum when she comes over in the autumn..
My dad is coming over here mid July for the first time in 10 years  oops need to get cracking to find activities they can do.. It could be difficult as he does not speak a word of English, and nor does his wife.. I have ordered tickets for the Man Utd/ Old Trafford tour (they have audio guides in French), and think we might take them to the Lakes on the second day...
OH is now busy doing the weeding in the garden, and I have been tasked with sorting out the paperwork in the office.. We will probably go to the park for a walk later on this afternoon.. I might even push the boat with an ice cream.. Oh the decadence! :rotfl:

Hope everybody is having a fantastic weekend!

Glad you and OH had a good time away and time to reconnect, I think we can all be guilty of life taking over sometimes , so its good to go back to basics and "dating" once in a while! ;)

    Are you OK Froggy?

If your Tetanus jabs aren't up to date it might be worth it. Also regarding RSPCA has it bitten before? Imagine if a little child had been bitten.

    Hope its not all bad.
