I am in fact poorly today, spent the night worshiping the toilet, I have done nothing all day but nap, watch daytime tv and be here snuggled in a blanketAll comments and advice given is my own opinion and does not represent the views or advice of any debt advice organisation.

Me too
Have been number crunching most of the day
Just wish I could convert the rest of them  Brother thinks he's hard done by having only £50 a week to spend
I check Quidco regularly and have made an account for mother now which is helpful because there's some offers I can nab twice and some, like Cahoot, which I can't get yet.
She's happy and I have an excuse to be online :rotfl:No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

With Pigsback and Quidco, don't you have to spend money to earn something?
I always assumed you had to make big purchases to get anything back which I never do.
Can someone please explain how they work?0 -
Yep, have been in the DFW Nerds club for a long time. Never really goes away, although I do have patches of less 'nerdiness'.
I think what you ve all described is perfectly normal and a healthy attitude to finances and being in control.
Oh god, does that make me a control freak then? Probably, ah well. At least one day I'll be a wealthy control freak!!0 -
I check all bank accounts and credit cards and have a book and spreadsheet with my credit card outgoings on - paid off each month :-)0

If you have lots of spare time there are lots of competition websites on the net. The best is www.loquax.co.uk and also Prizefinder at http://www.theprizefinder.com/index.asp?SectionName=home
Also register for some survey sites and earn some money.
Good luck0 -

You also get cash back by signing up for credit reports and DVD trials - sign up and cancel the membership before the free trial period expires. You can open bank accounts and apply for credit cards. I'm going to try some DVD trials when the weather gets colder and the nights draw in.
Register and have a look at the current offers.0 -
With Pigsback you can also get points by answering quizzes, signing up for email newsletters (including Pigsback's own) and (sometimes) clicking on links to merchants. I joined a couple of days ago & just got enough points to get a free piggy bank without having to buy anything or give out any details!0

I'm so glad I'm normal in DFW land, OH thinks I'm an obsessive!
I'm signed up to loads of survey sites too, so my other daily task is to fill in any of those that need doing!0
