Morning all
Hope everyone's Ok and big hugs:)
.......sorry to be a pain but I need your advice.
I have a debt with MBNA credit card of £4001.58 and this amount is included in my signature below.
I have recieved a letter saying they - MBNA - would be prepared to accept half of this...£2000.79.
As this is really unexpected - would you allow me to PAD the whole £4001.58 as this was a figure I had intended to pay as part of being debt free and like I said it's in my sig....?
It would also mean I'm sub-£70k:D and really motivate me
Thanking you all
Sassers x
I don't doubt you've been around these boards enough to know the score but make sure that you have it in writing that they will not pursue you for the rest of the money. Nor will any third party (i.e. debt collector) do so and that the rest of the debt will be written off.
EDITED TO SAY: Oops !! I've just read on and see you've now made the payment.0 -
£1 for me today please0

Hi All!
I haven't done Shred for the last 2 days as have just been feeling a bit tired and lazy. But, I will do it again tonight, never fear!
I'm not sure if I have lost any weight, but I am definitely toning up which is great. And the best thing - when I ran for the train earlier this week, I recovered in seconds, instead of 10 minutes! lol. So, big improvement there for me(I've done 7 days at level 1 so far).
Now - the question. There are some bikes on offer at the moment here for about €150. My parents have given me 60 GBP towards a bike as my early b'day and christmas gift, and I was thinking that I would use some of the money from my savings pot to make up the rest. What do you think? I will still have enough left over for Christmas, thanks to the 'only buy for the kids' policy we have in my family and the limit I have set for each present.
I just really, really want a bike and it's getting a bit silly now, cos everytime I plan to get one, something comes up that requires the funds more.
Oh, and big congrats Sassers! You're doing brilliantly!
xx

Hi everybody!
I'm back but am currently doing that day-after-holiday thing where you dash around trying to get all the washing through... made doubly annoying by the fact that I left the house spotless when i left, but 4 days of the boyfriend home alone has turned it into a s**t tip grrrr!
Will post properly later xxxThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -
Morning All
Good News sassers
Euronorris - I'd buy the bike - that's what the money's meant for and you've obviously wanted it for a while.
