A Payment A Day - Part 9

Hi all, sorry to gate crash.
I'm not on the list of daily payers but I just wanted to let you all know that I paid 47 pence off one of my credit cards making it fully paid off and it knocked a whole £1.19 off the total debt overall.
It just goes to show that even pennies paid can knock pounds off in the long run.
Good luck all and keep making those payments, they all add up!

ETA: Just looked back and seen what you've bought, I'm sure you can get a pram/car seat/mattress for far less than £400! I saw a travel system including carseat for about £60 in the sales, Argos or Tesco Direct I think? Or if you want to spend more on a car seat you could do that then buy a secondhand pram on eBay.I got everything I needed for my youngest (and I had no baby stuff left) for about £200 by shopping carefully - if only I was that way with everything!!
thanks, my oh got a little bit excited though and has pulled all wrappings and tags off and had a play  £200- thats impressive lol if i need anything else getting ill come on here first and check with you lot.

I am really ill today, so no PAD for me.
Been in bed all day, just got up to sit in the living room now that they're in bed (trying to avoid spreading it). Not even sure if I could remember my banking details the way I feel! Been throwing up all day and not been able to keep anything down. I'm all dizzy and feel very weird but i'm settled now with a peppermint tea - sipping it so hopefully I can keep it down.

Oh dear, I really hope you feel much better soon. Pepermint tea will be good as mint will settle you tummy, as will ginger if you can face it. Fingers crosed for a speedy recovery

Hi All,
Well ! Christmas is over and yet another New Year beckons along with all the resolutions. I read this thread with interest (the GOOD kind ... not the % APR kind that features way too much in my life) last year and would very much like to join you this year. I have several debts but have decided to use the PaD as an extra weapon to attack them one at a time. First one on list is Debenhams card which I have not used to buy anything on for at least 2 years and have achieved almost NO reduction on the total owed in that time:eek:,
Lets aim for a better year for all of us x0
