  • Hi

I love this thread, the support you are showing each other is great!! I am currently in debt by just short of £4k (car loan which I know I am paying too much interest on through RBS) but I bought my house nearly 4 years ago with my ex - partner who moved out after 6 months (we had been together years but once we moved in together it just didn't work). Tried to sell the house but would not get what we needed so currently working everything out via a solicitor and will be left with a further £6.5 - £7k of debt from an unsecured loan which is separate to the mortgage on the property. So circa £10k which I hope to pay off within a year..... worried and scared of the thought of owing so much money but when it has all been agreed and I have the loan to pay back I will then come back and start counting down my debt also! Great thread!

Keep up the good work everyone!! :j x

Hi all, sorry to gate crash.

I'm not on the list of daily payers but I just wanted to let you all know that I paid 47 pence off one of my credit cards making it fully paid off and it knocked a whole £1.19 off the total debt overall.

It just goes to show that even pennies paid can knock pounds off in the long run.

Good luck all and keep making those payments, they all add up!

Hello to all the newbies and those who've come out of lurkdom  This is a great thread and we're all very friendly......I'm chuffed to bits as I've just got my wi-fi on my lappy going so I'm lounging on the sofa...
Mr Sassers is in football misery as Cardiff FC got stuffed at Watford......but I'm happy as Tesco have just delivered a year's supply of toiletries, washing powder and cat litter. I'm going to try and pad £15,000 in 2011....well that's the target anyway...
Just popping my head round the door for a nosey...
    Keep warm peeeps
    Love Sassers x
