I misused my credit card, only a small amount. If I had paid the first month's charges in the first instance I wouldn't have got into a spiral of charges month after month which is now out of control. I might have lost a few pounds but it would have stopped the escalation. I did have my bank charges refunded but I guess I didn't learn my lesson ! Naughty girl.

    Hiya new folk!

For those who have been asking, this works on the principle that "A payment a day makes the debt go away!"

You pay what you can afford each day towards a debt. Sometimes this might be £1 or less, other days (Payday!) more than £100, it depends on your circumstances.

The only rule we have is that you pop onto the thread every day to say what you've paid, and post the amount in bold, colour or large font so it's easy for the counter to see the amount - each month someone does a total for us so we can see how much we've collectively paid off.

I've been PADding for 2 years and became Debt Free on the 2nd of this month (Woo!) so it really does work :D
