Is there anyone else to weigh in?

I have updated it as much as possible - ThriftyPixie I will have to put this weeks weight loss in as 4lbs so that it shows as 4lbs loss to date - hope this is ok?

Angelic - can you see the spreadsheet yet? Is anyone else having problems?

    EE

Hiya EE...yep that's fine. Sorry to mess you around! :)

I did Day 1 of Shred last night and...

    ..
    ..
    ..
    ..

    ow.

I don't think I'm actually as unfit as I thought I was, but MAN it. is. hard. work.

Today the tops of my arms hurt (something about rotator cuffs that aren't usually used according to my gym-fanatic colleague) and my thighs ache when I try to....well...do anything! But I survived! Going to try and do it every day for the next month, along with some ab work on a chair we have at home. I must sort out some weights from my fiance's stash though, as I felt a right berk swinging tins of baked beans around :p

We also bought a set of Weightwatchers Body Analysis scales at the weekend and discovered that the Wii is weighing us 6lbs light  Therefore my goal (see sig) has changed to a ridukuloso 22lbs...so I'm going to need Jillian! I'll let you know how I get on.

I'm also still watching my portion sizes and avoiding bread and cider..and have been 7 weeks without cigarettes! :T

I do my exercises with 500g cartons of passata... :o my mum took the p**s and told me that was the posh way of doing it lol. Have just ordered a set of weights from sports direct though, 0.5, 1, and 1.5 kg sets for £16 delivered which I didn't think was too bad.

Havent summoned up the courage to do level 2 yet, way too scared!smiley-scared004.gif

Give it ago, but beware the next day, I ache all over. I went for a run this morning and it killed me, usually I would manage it no problem, but my thighs ached and burnt and ached some more. I am summoning up the courage for another bout of shred tonight after I've done the ironing :(

  • This is what I just posted on Hypno's diary:
Oh My Goodness - I am having trouble walking today :rotfl:

Going upstairs is fine but going down is agony :rotfl:

Trying to sit on the toilet is agony :rotfl:

Sitting down at work for an hour and then walking around is agony :rotfl:

    Then....

I did it all again tonight and that was agony as well :rotfl:

DH and DS and DD tried to do it with me tonight, I could not stop laughing :rotfl:. DH has a few medical issues so only managed about 6 minutes :rotfl:, he says tomorrow he will try everything but cardio as he has lung problems.

I really enjoyed it and it seemed to go quicker than last night - I suppose because I know what I am doing. When we finished I was shocked.

I am going to measure myself tomorrow and then every 4 days to see what the measurements are like.

  • OOh yeah nearly forgot this was the PADboard and not the exercise board :rotfl:, PAD of £1.03

  • I haven't done it again today as I went out last night, got hardly any sleep and felt rubbish this afternoon before falling asleep on the sofa instead of going to the cinema with my friend! DEFINITELY tomorrow though! I'm going to Belfast for 5 days on Thursday for work, but am taking my laptop so I might get some done then too. Maybe.
