It states clearly on the invoice bill the specs and one of those is 15% more BHP and more throttle response.

Its a Ford Mondeo 2.5 V6 DuraTec engine no other mods but the exhaust, everything else is standard.

I have found one to start you off, a similar exhaust this guy has fitted to his and got 10% more BHP:

I have the 2.5 v6 hatch auto, the combination of comfort (leather heated seats) performance (168 bhp, plenty of torque) and features:-6 cd, air con, heated front screen and door mirrors, abs, traction control, cruise, etc etc, make this a desirable mode of transport. at 21,000 new and at 3 yrs 4,500 a real executive car for small money. And if you wanted to spice things up theres a chip to give 10-15% increase in power, also a stainless steel exhaust with twin pipes giving an extra 10 bhp

Did you read your posts before posting them?
    15%, then 10% then 10bhp.
That's quite a spread of figures and the closest one is the 10bhp. Also happens to be the lowest.
And you paid £1700 for it???
While mondeos are ok cars, I don't think they were ever really in the "real executive" class.

I am always amazed by people driving BMW's on 2010 plates that try an overtake on the motorway ;)
Needless to say, they fail every time against my 2000 plate Mondeo :rotfl:

Why don't you "let" these pesky BMW drivers past? Is it so you can show your extra 10bhp off?
It could be that the mature drivers are keeping their distance from you and not trying to race.

Also it states it on the invoice.

I am often shocked myself at the amount of power behind my engine ;)
BMW 2.5 litre engine produces 214bhp as standard compared to your 168bhp.....or 178bhp if you include the exhaust.

    I'm surprised you're shocked at 178bhp...it's not really that much these days....a 2010 BMW 320d basic....produces 170bhp as it leaves the factory. A 325d produces over 200bhp.
