As a previous person said, you just need a right angle power lead.

    Hi,

jings, you're having a time of it, here's the solution to both your tv problems, put the new one back in the box and take it back, stick the one with the missing part back on the wall, solved.

Aw go on, you want to laugh. :rotfl:

    Hi,

well here's the dumb question, :o and don't throw anything at me, you did switch it on at the side?

Just found this in manual, might help.

The TV does not switch On
Press and hold the standby On / Off switch on the remote control ●
for about 1 second if Power LED is red.

Hi we tried the old lead from our other tv and nothing..we then felt all round it and couldnt feel any switches..i then read the manual and the only bit i could read is the 'hold button for aprox 1 second and it will start up' nothing..SO did a review on it which showed where the button for it was (our old one doesnt have this as has to always be on standby) so dd had to wedge her hand in as it is flush to the wall..and da daaaaa it came on!! Havent touched it since being on apart from registering it for being stolen as the first thing that came up on the screen but pic looks good from what i saw..thank god!
Frucal lol at hitting you!! i'm calmer now..also managed to sort the other 2 tv's out so all good.

Thanks so much for all the help btw. x
