Ok we bought a:
Panasonic TX-P37X20B tv on saturday. The bracket arrived today and dh put it all up..a nightmare in its self as the tv is shockingly heavy compared to our 32".
Anyway the bracket went on ok..just..i went out and came back and dh was just sitting there looking confused..the power socket for the tv is behind the bracket..so we had to take it all of the wall and remove the bracket and fit the plug BUT it is too big and the bracket won't go over it..so tv is back in the box, the bracket (which had to be assembled) is now sitting here as we can't use it and it will have to go back.
Not really what i wanted at the end of a rubbish day!
Please please someone help with a suitable bracket we can buy tonight online or tomorrow in a shop..the shop we bought from didn't have one suitable as it has to go in the corner of the room. It laso has to tilt swivel and move etc etc!
Thanks

Don't hang it on the wall. You'll be stuck with the telly in the same place forever. Plus, you'll get a crick in your neck if you hang it too high."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0

frucal thanks for the reply..i really hope not or it is going back! the bloke knew in the shop where we were putting it so id'e hope one fits. It si the most stupid place to put a plug i have ever seen. It is a new tv so ide think in this day and age it will go up.
pimento thanks for your reply but it HAS to go on the wall..tbh unless we move house the tv will always go on the wall so a stand not an option.

I just bought and fitted today a Duronic PLB109M-K Universal 32"-50" tilt & swivel bracket from Amazon (£50) for my Panasonic 42" plasma. Very impressed with the quality, went straight up no problem and very pleased with creen positioning I can achieve through the swivel / tilt.0

Frucal on the back of the new tv is a space for the plug to go in..not the power socket for the wall i hasen to add. When the plug is in the tv the bracket will not sit over it hence it being useless.0

I dont understand whats going on here? if the plug was in the way, why did you fit the bracket there?
Do you have a photo to explain?0 -

OK..below is a picture of our other tv..(see other thread about nightmare tvs!) anyway that is the socket that i mean..now on the LG pictured that is in the bottom corner..nowhere near where a wall mounted bracket would go..on the Panasonic it is right in the middle so when the bracket was affixed on it covered the socket hole..when took off and the socket plugged in the bracket wouldnt fit flat to the tv..problem!!0

oh, right, jings, that's different, have you a picture of bracket, please.
Bracket below..If you look at it the 4 corners..look at the bottom right one..the hole for the plug is just above those holes behind the black bit. Dh thinks we should get a hole cut in it tomorrow as has a metal place opposite his work and is easier..i am not so sure..wouldnt it affect the strength..warranty etc..it seems such a sham right now and im getting rapidly fed up with it all!0
