Hi its not the cable that is the prob it is the socket thing that has to go in the back it sticks out far too much for the bracket to go back on the tv..very hard to explain i know some of you aren't getting what i mean but i'm trying!..very my hubby would say!!

Looked up in the instruction manual for your TV and the optional bracket listed is model TY-WK4P1RW...i googled that and it looks nothing like that bracket and consists of two horizontal rails with 2 vertical rails in between. I can see in the manual what you mean..the "kettle lead" (power lead) that attaches sticks out slightly and because of the design of that bracket it's never going to fit (unless you cut bits out). Search on google with "TX-P37X20B bracket" under the shopping results a few come up on ebay that are likely suitable and less than £30.

Have you tried one of these right-angle leads from Maplin? It shouldn't stick out as much:
    item no. 22262

Hi thanks tbh my brain hurts after faffing all night with various tv issues!

I like the look of this BUT is it for a corner wall? im thinking not..

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003AOCGZK/ref=asc_df_B003AOCGZK727343?smid=A3H549VMQIDGL7&!!!!!pricerunner-ce-3p-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22218&creativeASIN=B003AOCGZK

Also spotted this on B&Q which is what our other mount is make wise and is great:
    http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.jsp?action=detail&fh_secondid=10687510&fh_view_size=10&fh_location=%2f%2fcatal!!!1%2fen_GB&fh_search=tv+bracket&fh_eds=%c3%9f&fh_refview=search&ts=1280265719629&isSearch=true

Basically it needs an arm as going in the corner of the room.

    Thanks guys

Hi thanks it cant stick out at all as the mount goes flat to the tv..grr who the heck designed such a stupid place to put it??

Would anyone else be tempted to cut a square out of the current bracket for the lead to go in or just find another? dh can get this done easily tom as knows someone close to his work in the metal trade but i am thinking it shouldnt be this hard!

That's not a wall mount, Jesus, it will come crashing down on you. Panasonic will have proper mounts in stock (not cheap crap).
I use one from Sanus mounted in a corner fully movable.

Can i ask which mount you are reffering to? Tbh i am finding it hard to find one as they are either not suitable for a corner or the hole is not there for the power lead/socket.

Dh is going down today to the metal place to see what they say about cutting a hole in ours, if it makes it weaker we will not do it..not a great idea but tbh but he is adamant it will work as only needs to be small..we will see how it goes. I am going into the shop about another bracket.between us we will get it up!
    Thanks for the replies
