Thats great, cherisong! You're really focussed on it, and everything sounds like its really hanging together.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

You will be whizzing down those slopes in no time at all. Mind you if this snow hits hard Moo will be able to give you some sledging practice!0

Thanks KC, I seem to always focus when anything involves travel. Also the talk over on your thread got me excited and I researched the Christmas Markets so that we could decide where to stop off on the way. We settled on Regensburg, so that meant I had to get organised with the travel etc.
Pippa, it was quite scary taking Moo for a walk in the snow last year. He is quite strong but he is such a wuss so every now and then he would take off and I would end up sliding behind him holdijg on for dear life.:)
Well I have spent the day freezing my bits off on a very cold bus. I am now trying to thaw out in front of an electric heater. It is nights like this that I really miss my log fire in my old house. The moon was amazing on the drive back and the stars are so bright. I had to keep reminding myself that I was driving and shouldn't be distracted. Every now and then I stopped in a parking stop and just sat and looked at that big beautiful moon. Reminded me of the line from Its a Wonderful Life, "I would lassoo the moon for you" I think that is it anywaySome days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. The drive sounds wonderful! But boo-hiss to cold buses, I *hate* that! Its A Wonderful Life ... it'll be on soon2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Unfortunately I will have many more days on the cold bus, I am touring Wales with it at the moment (not a rock chick unfortunately!) and we are parking in some very rural areas which doesnt help because I cant just nip into the local supermarket to get warm
I have Its a Wonderful Life on dvd so it is watched several times a year when I need a little pick me up. I must try to find Harvey on dvd me thinks. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sounds like some of those hand warmers might be needed - years ago when I played golf we had them in our pockets in the winter - really I should have just been in the club house with a hot toddy :beer:0

:rotfl::rotfl: I was just about to say that a hipflask with a tot of whisky might do the trick. Not sure that being tipsy on duty is the best way forward though!
I was in me thermals today, must buy some of those hand warmers, hadnt thought of that. Thanks
Today, I took to pulling my fleece up to my nose and breathing heavily into the top of it. It helped to warm my nose :eek:Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. I did the same - but for my ears - with the fleece - not a whisky!

Right, first day in two weeks that I get to work from home and dont you just know it my computer has died so I have to go into the local town to an office to get onto the network PAH!! it is icy out there. Just about to brave the weather and take Moo out for his daily constitutional. It will be his first morning walk in the forest all week. He has been on road walks all week at 6 in the morning so I am sure that he will go absolutely mad. He loves the frosty mornings.
I have realised that I have not done any debtbusting plans for so long. I think I will allow myself some time off and let it tick until Christmas and then go all guns blazing from the New Year. I really want this debt gone next year. If I ever get my Landie then I will only do it once this debt is gone. Feeling a bit down about it today. Was awake worrying in the night about it and many other things. Think I need to take a chill pill. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar.
