Rod Stewart tickets cancelled

Have they seen the line-up for Rockness? I've got a fairly eclectic taste in music, so I'd find stuff to enjoy there, but Rockness isn't really aimed at Rod Stewart's fanbase by the looks of things.
As most people affected were okay with getting to the SECC, I would have thought a pair of tickets to a gig/event of your choice at the SECC would have been more appropriate compensation.Big thanks to Martin Lewis for helping us start to sort out our finances!!!:A

I wish they would offer Glasgow tickets. I'm disabled and won't be able to manage any of these events.0

Quite agree with the above and have emailed AEG to that effect. However Rockness would certainly not suit me as a 63 year old who won't have heard of any of the bands. Feels like just a token gesture putting in 1 Scottish option amongst the London ones. really not good enough.

I have heard nothing from them either and it is now too late for me to try and organise travel for tomorrow.
Whilst it was my choice to enter a competition for Glasgow, the only reason was to see Rod Stewart. I wouldn't travel that far otherwise and to have choices (if i get them) of either London or Inverness while im in Liverpool is really not a good choice in my opinion ( I have already paid out once for transport etc.) I think they must be having a laugh

Sorry, these offers are not suitable as far as I am concerned. If they can't give access to any Glasgow gig or to something that at least appeals to Rod Stewarts audience then it should be a gift voucher for 2 tickets to any forthcoming AEG Concert. Even if not currently advertising.0

i havent had an email response from them yet either. Will not be accepting any of these if they are offered either.
Tiesto/Rod Stewart, cant really see the similarity!0 -
Sorry, but let them face the press or tv or whoever takes this case up. It's an insulting offer on the table as far as I am concerned. Lets not forget it was them who pulled out the deal to provide tickets. They got all the information they wanted from everyone entering the competition then did not honour the prize. Unbelieveable for a company such as AEG. They deserve the bad publicity for this one.0

I emailed AEG to say I couldn't make it to any of their alternative venues and asked if they could offer an alternative within Glasgow. My reply was
Im very sorry but im afraid we have no shows in Glasgow which we can offer you as we have none coming up in the region
Im sorry for any distress this has caused:(:(:(:(:(
