Rod Stewart tickets cancelled

Im jsut back fromt he concert, I was turned away with my Ents email and told no chance and to go home, I bought tickets outside so we could actually get into the concert, only to be met by other competition winners who had been given tickets for free, no emails checked or anythign just handed out
I called the sun and they are hoping to get the story in tomorrow paper, spoke to a lovely guy called Robert and sent him all the copies of the emails we recieved etc.
Its so unfair, how can they tell so many ppl to go home and have the police escort them out then give tickets to others who didnt leave?

She was from the 'ticket soup' box office - I think they checked after it started & realised they could let some more standing people in - it was about 20.15 when we got in. I think they were just trying to avert the impending riot

Gutted, drove my elderly mum and dad there, walked, queued and left with no joy. The email came after we left. I will be gutted if they left anyone in as they categorically said NO-ONE would get in as there were no tickets
Just in the door 2 mins ago. Mum was so gutted. I had tried to buy tickets but it was a sell out when I realised it was on. It is her all time hero and she was so delighted when I told her. I took my dad aswell as I knew they would prob never get the chance again. There are always bad moments in your life you would like to forget.. this was one of them

We arrived at 6:20pm and were told to wait till 8pm incase they could fit us in. Standing about with to parents in their 70's - no seats, no fun. I spoke to someone from Aberdeen and there was someone else who had come from Belfast! Poor, Poor show - so gutted for my mum and dad!

Yeah I called them when I got home and told them the story and gave them copies of all my emails and links to the sites where ENTS24 confirmed there were enough tickets for all the winners
He said he would try to get it in tomorrow paper

Right up until the middle of the afternoon, we had no idea that there was a problem. We've run loads of competitions with AEG Live before and they've always delivered the tickets they've promised.

I can only re-iterate what we've said on our Facebook page and in emails to disappointed winners: we're really sorry you've been let down. We'll be speaking to AEG over the next few days to try to find out what went wrong and to help ensure that this is resolved.

I just wish there was something we could have done to prevent this.

I travelled through on the bus from Edinburgh to go with my mum- when we got there I was just given a piece of paper and that no one was getting in and there was nothing they could do about it. My mum was gutted! Count me in for any complaint.

omg - i just got home and checked my emails to see they had cancelled the tickets - i can't believe they were turning people away - i went up this afternoon and got my tickets just before 4, just handed her the original email and got the tickets no problem, she didn't ask me for id or nothing. Sorry to say it but had a great time.

I have travelled all the way from Edinburgh to Glasgow & turned up at the box Office to be told - Sorry it's been cancelled & we e-mailed you. Bit late as we set of before the e-mail was even sent. We were offered no compensation apart from our car park fee. Absolutely ridiculous! Will never have anything to do with Ents24 ever again. Some people had travelled further than us & had even booked an overnight stay! Disgusting!!
