bug in vBulletin? last post to thread in userCP

Hi, I had a quick skim for previous mention of this, but it's not got any (obvious to me) search keys, so apologies if it's come up before...
(I did however search the vbulletin support forums for " last, post, subscribed, threads" and didn't find anything useful.)

When in the User Control Panel looking at Subscribed Threads (or similar) there's this nice list of threads that i'm watching, with the headings Thread / Thread Starter and then Last Post, and under the last post column is a link to the public profile of the last poster, with their name as the link.

This is all nice and good, however, the link is actually to the person who posted last on that thread, rather than to that of the person whose handle is used at the text for the link, and here I think lies the problem.
As the thread is posted to, the last poster changes, but the link title doesn't, so on occasion you'll have a link to say my profile, "jam" if i'd posted last at teh time, which actually links to somebody else's details.

Hope this is enough info, i've tried to be -verbose ;)

    Hiya,
I thought it might be a bit confusing and tricky, i'll try to list steps to replicate the issue :)

    - Find an active thread
    - Add it to your subscribed threads list
    - Open up the userCP, and the Subscriptions page
    - Note the last user in the watched thread, and check that it goes to the profile of last user to post.
    - Wait for somebody else to post to the thread (check with another window?), then click through on the "last poster to thread" and see that now it doesn't go to the profile of the person who has their name there, but in fact to the person who did actually post last.

The crux is that this only happens if you don't refresh the subscribed threads window after the thread has been posted to, but click through after it has been posted to.

OH I see ,it is updating itself while clicking through but I can see why it's confusing ,cause your clicking on one name and going into another,I get you now:)

Yup, the click on one name get another person's profile is the bit i think is a bug, i guess i should probably formally log it with the developers

    yes I've noticed that too
I just thought it was because I'd had page open and by the time I'd clicked on the name thread had been updated so took me through to profile of last poster
