Usual chores completed today - S & S kitchen, emptied DW, then sat and watched athletics before going out to do some food shopping. Niece, who is staying with us while they get a mortgage sorted out, passed her theory test today, so we are all cockahoop for her!

Re names, I went to school with Penny !!!!!! and worked with Albert Hall, who DID NOT have a sense of humour about it......

Thanks for all the advice, info etc on this thread, has been a great help to me to get my home sorted!!

First bit of flying I've done all week because of stupid hospital/unable to do anything:o

I think it's actually "nesting" so I'm making the most of it;)

Washing done and dried (putting away in a mo)
    Washing machine cleaned
    Table decluttered
    Bedroom floor decluttered
    Cot decluttered
    Hospital bag packed
Some paperwork sorted (do the rest in a mo)

Interesting name talk!! I think we have a boy's name and girl's name sorted but it's caused us nothing but bother. Hoping it might be born with a name tag;)

DS1 went to birthday party, they went to see toy story and then on to MacDonalds, birthday cake and all. He's now on the sofa and white as a sheet, basin now beside him. :(

DS2 been and picked out 2 new frames other ones aren't there anymore, so he should have new glasses by the end of the week. :D

We were paying off 2 tv's, now hubby ordered them when he wasn't well and i really didn't want them but let it go. One is a 22inch which is fine but the other was a 40 inch.

The man rang today to say he's closing down and that hubby had the 22 inch paid off. so we now have the 22 inch lifted and all set up in the bedroom. I suppose now when hubby can't sleep he can watch the tv in bed and i'll not worry so much if he's still beside me..
I explained the 40 inch wasn't needed as the bedroom is too small and the man was fine about it. I even ended up getting a morphy richards slow cooker, 6.5 litre for £20. :money:
I know have my eye on a kettle and toaster. :o

Now i need to completely sort our bedroom out again.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
