Evening All
:hello:
Names I love :
Pinks : Leonie, Naomi, Cerys, and Christa.
Blues : Lawrence, Levi, Jon-Joe, and Thomas.
The family have suggested : Ryan, Austin, Fergus, Leigh, Andi, Lauren and Harry.
Right, that's work finished for me till next Thurs. I intend to consume vast quantities of alcohol, and do stuff all tomorrow!
I have come home to a vaguely clean house! Stairs vac'd, LR clean and tidy, marvellous!

Haven't done any real Flying today - got WM and DW going, and did a quick bit of swishing and swiping, but am looking after DD4's cat while they are away on hols. This means 2 visits a day (no cat flap, so go over, feed cat and let her out, then return a few hrs later to let her back in and feed again). What with visiting DH in hospital, am getting quite tired.
Anyway, I'm fine really, just making excuses!
Interested in reading all the stuff about names. My Grandad and Great-Grandad both had a very unusual name (Zenas), and I was thinking the other day that it would have been good to give it to our only DS (now aged 40!), if only as a middle name. (Don't know what he would have thought about that though!)Keeping two cats and myself on a small budget, and enjoying life while we're at it!0 -
Just got rearended on way back, didn't see any car damage so didn't take any details, hubby said I should have when I got back due to whiplash....didn't think of that.I have to get it done.. no way I'll get a thing done once baby arrives.. I was mostly supervising while laid on the bed though.. seeing as I can't lift anything.. including my feet!
Must do a slop over the bathroom floor with the mop though it is gross and smells of wee in there.. nasty...Delegate ...........
Sorry, can't help with baby names. I do have a couple of funnies though . Mr LW's grandad's given name was Willy. Not William and then shortened, he was actually christened Willy!
Mr LW's eldest nephew is William Wallace.
Where I lived as a child there was a local councillor by the name of Ivor Penny.
Soappie I hope BB is starting to get better, after her visit to the vets. Well done you on having somewhere she can go if desperate and not get told off.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
well I have changed the bed, sorted the washing, cooked and ate my tea, it was horrible, washed up, ummmm and the vegetated in front ot the box with crisps and alcohol!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well tomorrow is another day as they say!!
night allGo hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
Evening! I see we've not yet found a name for Squeak then?!!
My Grandma was Christened Trixie (NOT Beatrix) which I like.
The other Granny was Ethel - not so keen on that one!
Football was good and the season proper starts next weekMuse tickets arrived in the post today, so that's one thing less to worry about. I bought them on the first day of school last September  and I was beginning to worry. It's DS1's treat for getting good results in his exams, so they'll be sold (I think) if he doesn't.
Ooh, mine hasn't arrived yet - I also booked it ages ago. When are yours for?Just got rearended on way back, didn't see any car damage so didn't take any details, hubby said I should have when I got back due to whiplash....didn't think of that.
Hugs Triker, hope you and the car are ok xx"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Has anyone fitted a new hose on a dyson? Is it easy? I seem to be able to get one for £20 direct from dyson, much better than getting a whole new hoover as DH was talking about...also he wants a non upright which I hate!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0
