I think it would be a good idea is there were some links for other mobility aids. Hours can be spent on line trying to find something and compare prices.

Once upon a time, the people posting on here were all helpful Alas as the site has expanded it can be quite vicious at times. The best way to deal with it, is to take it with a pinch of salt, remove the wheat from the chaf so to speak. I assure you that there are some wonderful people on here, and they do have some good ideas, tips, hints and just friendliness.
I know that its not my responsibility, but I feel that its such a shame and I want to appologies for it..

Not had a great weekend and still feeling really rubbish. Had a bit of a wobbly earlier. I wanted to make rosti as we all love it but when I tried to squeeze the water out of the potato they wouldn't let me. Daft I know but it was yet another thing I couldn't do:(

I am lucky enough not to need any mobility or other aids, so don't know what to call things. If anyone wants me to add a search to my real auctions browsing please give me some key words. I've already entered alerts for 'wheelchair' and 'scooter', are they the correct and accepted terms?

As soon as I get some money in (work owes me lots as I haven't been paid since February) I will book. I am booked for the Irish one in November though, are you going to that?

Yeah this was my experience on another thread who imply 'butter doesn't melt in their mouths' yet whenever I had a budget wobble certain dominant ones would slaughter me...If I stuck up for myself I'd get put on ignore. If someone offended my christian faith and I stuck up for Christ I'd get ignored and told I was psychotic (far from it)....it just made me question a lot of stuff. The first time I reported a heap of folk for abuse and got a load of posts removed...then left it a few weeks and went back on...Now I'm kind of rarely posting cos I know they all hate me. We just sing from different hymn sheets. I have different ethics to a lot of them on there....I've realised that. - there's more to life than MSE - it's worth remembering that - like there's more to life than Facebook. I've lost track of how many folk have deleted and blocked me on Facebook just because of misunderstandings never resolved. Some ppl just aren't worth get het up over online...there will always (or at least for some time yet) be somewhere on here I can call home and when one message board comes to the end of it's shelf life for you it's not long before you find another

Okay..I figured what's happening to my MH right now...not enough food (scales doing my head in) and like not enough sleep. two out of three of my basic wellness tools that I'm slacking on..so regardless of budget will get blinds from hardware store this week for bedroom cos I need my sleep and it's most disconcerting being woken by bright sunlight @ 5am :eek:...and the other I need to menu plan for - simple..

thanks for the suggestions on cheap eats btw..think I can possibly do a meal for even cheaper than £2.80 though...that's like 'take away' price for me or convenience store price..
